I was thinking it wasn't his true running over Christmas but maybe he did and that's what el cairos looked like a aeroplane v him.

Mullins doesn't seem to send horses to the bartlett who look classy, so it depends how he wins this weekend, if he does win. If your a bartlett backer you want a one paced relentless finish by a few lengths. If he travels well and shows any sort of finishing kick, I'd be thinking turners.

I think it's DRF dependent but if both going well I'd see Rasko Turners and Doctor (the good one) going Bartlett.

Sortudo another that could go anywhere still. If a little disappointing already...

….bit of a mix looking at Saxons race planner, not seeing any winners going on to win either in the last 5 years.

Jasmin & Stellar both 4th recently before winning AB.
 
Dont know what has happened to DDM he looked like a motorbike in his bumper now he looks like he needs 4 miles

Talking about Doctor Steinberg, Tackletommywoowoo, second fav behind him for the Nathaniel Lacy, shows as OUT OF TRAINING on HRI ratings database - no idea if this is accurate though.
 
Different ground today has to be noted but that's all. He'll be any price now to win at the festival.

Can't be right, sure I saw somewhere trainer given a good mention recently.
 
Yep, if it's soft ground at the weekend and Dr Steinberg outstays them then I'd say he's more likely bartlett myself.

If Talk the Talk turns up, and he's been a very slightly weak horse on the exchange recently, then I think if his jumpin holds up he wins the 2 miler easily.
Hopefully Rasko or reverend run well, and I reckon if one of those gets second to Talk the Talk then they'll look to avoid the supreme if he says he's going that way v Old Park
Then Mullins has a decision to make and reckon he'll prefer steinberg for the race he's currently favourite for.
And then throw a handful at the other two novice races.

with every chance one or two of JP's run again early Feb, and boost their chances.

Could go on forever.
My overthinking needs some meditation on a fucking monday afternoon

Blimey it doesn’t look good does it Eggs

Last 12 years, winners of NL/GC race;
- 5 have run in the Albert - no wins, 4 placed
- 5 have run in the Turners - no wins, 2 placed
- 1 ran in the mares novice hurdle and won it!

Maybe us Albert backers of Doctor S want him to run well at the weekend but not win in order to have a chance at the festival?
