2026 Novice Hurdlers

Agree. Not sure what Taurus has beat and AOI got beat by a 3yo last time which just doesn't read well at all.
Hoping tomorrows race shapes like a proper stayers outfit, as only have him backed for the spud race. Not sure that’s the direction they go with him, but we hope 🤷‍♀️

Maybe they just want a day out in Donny? It is Yorkshire after all 👍 lovely bit of bacon for breakfast and a few pints of best bitter
As someone who just moved to Yorkshire, the last two months is like someone turned my colour tv off as everything is just grey.

Day outs seem like they are a June-August thing!

Certainly has more of a feel of an Albert trial.

None of the three that have been mentioned actually have a Bartlett entry...

The coal mining museum is good this time of year

Hard to see Heads Up winning a Turners isn't it! If you thought he was anywhere near that calibre then doubling him today with No Drama This End would be my play.

I don't really like either of them but might have to have a saver on it now 😂

It is a hard race imo to be confident about any horse. Would not surprise me if one that’s lurking at bigger prices could run a big race.
He’s not beaten that far behind the current fav, and who knows what improvements are there.
40 is fair enough imo.

The winning distance will say it's not far but he could've beaten him 10 lengths easy I'd say.

Leader D'Allier and Doctor Du Mesnil both dec'd for Monday. Would've surprised a few if you'd have said at Xmas that they'd run on the same card together round Punchestown the week before the DRF

Is this Punchestown card new btw? Can't see any past winners with Timeform but unsure whether it is just playing up

Port Joulain won it last year, then on to Albert Bartlett, finishing way down the field.

Edit: obviously the above was for DDM, interesting for the 2m race for Leader looking back at results!
