2026 Novice Hurdlers

H Pat looked pretty useful in his 2 races at Sandown , particularly last time I thought
OPS beats him well that’s a fair effort I’d say.
Sandowns a kip of a track tho

Can often make horses look much more impressive than they actually are

I wouldn't trust Gary & Josh to be able to consistently back one up also

Sober Glory not running his race as well LTO, leaves me wondering about HP

Every year we get novices that look impressive early on.
Not easy to know which ones will continue to
impress as the season heads towards the spring.
Im not one to judge literally whether they will or not because of where they are trained, and I have an open mind about the race tomorrow.
It’s possible both could run really well, and also possible either could win, and be a big player,or players!! come March.

I always worry about Gary Moore's form a that meeting - he really targets it. I'm sceptical that the form will hold. It was a mighty impressive performance however and hopefully he'll give a good account of himself.

Fair point re the Moores, we shall see how it all pans out with this one.

Then on Thursday Mighty Park showed on the track what he shows me at home. He looked very special and for any horse to win any race by 38 lengths is some effort.

He looks to be out of the top drawer and will hopefully prove that. He too booked his Cheltenham ticket but like Bambino Fever we’re not sure for which event just now.

Mullins on mighty park

Bambino could yet take on the boys then

Supreme or Turners is anyone's guess

Yeah tough to know for sure, especially being JP's so not influenced really by willies other runners

You'd say Willie still has DDM 'potentially' for a mid trip, along with you proof, Dr steinberg (although i think/hope he'll go 3m)

Patrick Mullins on Sporting Life. "I did my best to keep him in bumpers this year but was unfortunately overruled on that one. He’s a beautiful horse, one of those that take your eyes out of your head.
“He’s reminiscent of Final Demand, Walk In The Park is a fantastic sire and he produced a fantastic performance. He just ran and jumped them into the ground. Obviously, he was getting an eight pounds allowance because he hadn’t run in and won a bumper. But I think he’s very, very exciting going forward and it’s just a shame I didn’t get a bumper with him.

JP wanted him to go hurdling straight away by all accounts

PP slashed him into 12s Supreme

For all Ruby is a lying twat, the 66s on Fou de Toi in the Ballymore is too big incase they do opt to go out which is plausible, they'll split them to give the team the best possible chance of picking up the 2 races.
into 33s best now
