4yo novice FIRE WARNING
will run in the colours of MRS S Ricci and is in training with NICKY HENDERSON
And there’s a new name in England too, with a new name. Well, new-ish. The Riccis are back in Seven Barrows having sent Nicky Henderson recent Arqana purchase Fire Warning.
“He’s a horse that Mr Henderson wanted strongly and looks a two miler, just the type the trainer usually excels with. So, he’s gone there,” Chambers reveals.
Darlojim can tell you more about the form, but the one run over hurdles has been franked with the winner going in again and the 5th finishing 2nd in the same race. And there’s a new name in England too, with a new name. As you said the winner has since went in again by 13L. Illusion Machines style of running is 'point and shoot' and often burns them off with a strong gallop throughout so its definitely promising Fire Warning managed to push him so close, and likely would have got up in a few more strides.Darlojim can tell you more about the form, but the one run over hurdles has been franked with the winner going in again and the 5th finishing 2nd in the same race.
Just had a look at the run on France Galop and realised Fire Warning has a little more experience than shown on the RP website. Twice ran in provincial flat races, winning the 2nd over 3400m. Watched his hurdles debut, was kept pretty wide including coming to the near side fence. Jumped well though and like you say, was the only one to push a previous and future winner. Good looking grey horse who I think will prove very popular with the public. As you said the winner has since went in again by 13L. The time of IM latest win was the fastest of the day, 6secs quicker than the Prix Emilius earlier on the card and 2 secs quicker than the Prix Galop Marin which contested Juntos Ganamos and just quicker than the Prix Pelat, though IM carried significant amount more weight than that winner.
Fire Warning is a horse with a decent amount of potential over hurdles.

Fire warnings definitely one I'd want cash out for if i was chancing him. He's switched yards late enough, so they'd be giving him a bit of time to acclimatise. And with him not having won yet over hurdles, there's no pressure to get him out quick, so they could always decide to keep him as a novice for next year if it takes them a while to be happy with how he settles in.
Costello is training them himself. The Cork entries are out and Asian Mater is entered with his trainer confirmed.Any one have any news on which trainer kaiser ball has gone to ? Can't be good for my antepost that he has left Mullins and gone elsewhere![]()

Starzand is 66/1 for the Bartlett with PP. That looks a cracking price with cashout. He looks very versatile ground wise. I think Sober Glory might need things a little softer.Decent debut there from Starzand at Ffos Las.
Won fairly comfortably and would be suited by a longer trip and on my radar for the Albert Bartlett
they also have Sober Glory - but he may well be one for the Turners....

We won't know the level of what he has beaten for a few weeks yet, but there would be worse 66/1 pokes out there.
(Don't think he'll shorten that much any time soon)
