2026 Novice Hurdlers

Any love for Taurus bay for the turners? 25s generally, won two fair average races, but was impressive both times. Entered to run on trials day (2nd fav) against act of innocence, who I am still unsure of….
Yes I like him, but going to see how Saturdays race looks. He’s taking on Act Of Innocence that’s certain, the 2 races he’s won he’s done with ease imo. Harry seemed quietly confident when he was on talkSPORT on Monday morning.

I’ll Sort That holds an entry in the Nathaniel Lacy & Partners Solicitors Novice Hurdle at Leopardstown’s Dublin Racing Festival on Saturday week, but Queally is keen to keep his powder dry for a trip to Prestbury Park in March.

“He came out of Naas great, he’s in great form,” he said on Tuesday.

“We’ll probably skip the DRF and concentrate on Cheltenham, I’d say.”

Queally has entered his in stable star in the two-mile-five-furlong Turners Novices’ Hurdle and the Albert Bartlett over three miles at Cheltenham and a decision on which race he will ultimately contest is unlikely to be made until much nearer the time.

Queally added: “Fingers crossed he has a trouble-free passage and gets there in one piece.

“He does stay well, but he’s very versatile. If you go back and look at his win at Listowel, he showed an unbelievable amount of speed the whole way over two miles, so I don’t think trip matters.

“There’s still a long way to go and we need a bit of luck, but he’s in good shape at the moment anyway.”

Have to say I’m happy he’s going a distance that lines to with the train of thought of going turners.

DRF race as much as you could see it as a positive willing to go to a grade 1, the distance would be a negative for the shorter distances at Cheltenham which I’d mentioned previously.

My main issue with this situation, is the bookies. I am in absolutely no doubt that they have deliberately manipulated that price to drop, and as we all know, mug punters will get excited thinking he’s going that way and part with their cash. A lot of people don’t think like a lot on here but many will, it’s shocking!

Leader D'allier & Dr du Mesnil both entered up at Punchestown monday also.
Leader in 2 of em.

Too Bossy For Us too. Willie was keen on him back end of last year. Seemed to the better of his beaten Triumph Hurdle novices.

FOU DE TOI entered next Tuesday Limerick over 2m.

El Cairos entered next Thurs @ Thurles

Roc Dino also in there
Oh that will be interesting if both are declared at thurles.

Roc Dino likely will need/want a win for his mark to get in somewhere? Then we maybe see a little more how El Cairos stacks up against him.

Ermm hard to know exactly

If El Cairos is a 2nd fav for a Supreme, you wouldn't want to be within 10L of that :ROFLMAO:

High 120s got you in a Pipe last couple year

Roc Dino came over with a '124'

All to play for I'd say

Whether they actually go again so soon is probably doubtful tbf, 2 week turnaround not like Willie even accounting for a plot I'd say. But a positive that he is given another entry so soon

Genuinely think it might be just disdain for punters 🤣 the big supreme talking horse is going to have one run over hurdles, over two miles, but doesnt hold a supreme entry.

Maybe not, and maybe he just won't look very quick or slick at his hurdles, in which case that might explain it. But found it strange that he wasn't given a supreme entry considering how mullins block enters, and he's starting off over two miles and has been apparently impressing at home.
