2026 Novice Chasers

If Romeo is beat tomorrow then they’ll have to go up in trip surely, even with the jockey considerations.

Western fold is a nice horse but they aren’t gonna run Romeo in the arkle when he’d be a 12/1 shot at best (if beaten tomorrow obviously) when they could up him in trip and have the fav for the RSA
You'd have Romeo as favourite for the Banc if beaten tomorrow ?
In that field ?
Worth looking back on his form and seeing who he's actually beat.

Kaid should be fav now I would think

Still think Romeo would be an interesting runner in the BANC, but don’t think he’s going there anyway.

supplement for the stayers I reckon.
fucking obvious when you look at impose toi

Did you see him ask for one when he was half outside the wings, horse must've thought "The fuck all you on about lad", it went a stride later and was still long at it, missus was getting angry watching him.
I will 110% be backing Jimmy if he turns up in a handicap again in march, without Patrick riding of course.
I’m just amazed that Willie persists with Patrick apart from the fact they are related. Surely the No.1 trainer should put nepotism to one side.

Aye, fair one. I'd probably back him there as well.

Didn't seem keen to run a decent one in the Jack Richards last year either. But didn't know if he was still being a little bitch about them changing the Grade 1 novice mid trip to a handicap.

Is hard to take any positives from his last two efforts mind.

I kind of agree, that said he suits some horses, anything that isn't a bus he tends to struggle with, just a bit too busy with his hands for me, sometimes the best instruction you can give them is just to sit still and let them bowl along, they don't all need some kind of instruction constantly, they can learn from being in a race without being asked to slow down, pick up, go long, shorten up between every obstacle, end up giving them a headache ffs.

…..Richard Hoiles said exactly the same just after the race.

There's 20s NRNB out there for those that can't get it.

Wouldn't be going off that price if he did chance it

Patrick didn't leave Jimmy alone for a minute, amazed the horse didn't put itself down sooner tbh, be looking to see if he gets a handicap entry.

Edit- all it wanted was to gallop with his head down but he wouldn't let him hold his head low cause he was worried about going over the top of him if it met one wrong, he's got hands like a hobbits foot.

I think there has been an over reaction to Final Demands display today. Ground was horrible, i'd forgive any horse for a bad run today, If he comes out and does it again then fair enough. I wouldnt back Kaid dAuthie, ran poorly last March

Ground didn’t seem to affect Kaid.
Be interesting to see if connections blame the ground for FD today, cos it looked a bit more than Simply ground to me.

Ground can't have been that bad on the chase course, especially when you look at Majborough's time.
