2026 Novice Chasers

Depends on how Galopin gets on. If he still looks as good as ever then PT won't jump off him in the GC but will want a big chance in the Ryanair, which currently looks like just Gaelic.
Still looks a gold cup horse to me, but we shall see if that materialises and the jockey gets what he wants, and see what the owner wants, which may hold sway.

Gaelic surely has nothing to fear from Fact To File, would make sense for himto go Ryanair imo.

Have just noticed we're in the novice chase thread here :ROFLMAO:

Mambonumberfive has been flawless so far over fences, form from both of his chase starts is working out well enough, connections are going slowly slowly, wonder if a good win today will make them aim a bit higher on his next start.

I’ve been with him his first two starts and been impressed. Tougher assignment today with lump sum. Interested to see if he continues to improve, plus receiving weight for age again today.

I know James gate fell there but for me that was bloodless from kargese, good line of form through lovely hurling too. I’m no paddock expert, but Gary o brian mentioned still carrying condition.

Missed the start of the race but couldn't understand how Kargese had got so far clear of Lovely Hurling? James Gate and Kargese were 20 lengths ahead when JG fell.

Stinking from M Walsh, never gave the horse a chance to get involved, it may not have won anyway but ffs stay handy as they were never coming back over 2m with the final fence omitted.

Wasn't trying to win mate, looking for a handicap mark

Problem with that is I'd imagine the handicapper missed nothing there though.

Loving Mambonumberfive, winning machine this season, and just beaten Lump Sum further than Lulamba did at Sandown..just saying.
Some motor but a very low jumper, he brushed through the top of most of them and only got half way up a couple of them. DIdn't seem to check his momentum much though.

He sure went through one there, hit the one afterwards too, wouldn't get away with it at Cheltenham or Aintree.
One more run then onto the Arkle according to Pauling, which is nice as I fancied him as a outsider for March ages ago so its always nice to have another live chance.

I’ve got him wtaf any race from his last win.
Was wondering which race but I guess it’s the Arkle now.
Probably will fall short but never know.
Hopefully will get a run for my money.

3/3 over Fences and still only 4 years old. 33/1 feels generous for the Arkle. Must be room for improvement to come.

….W Mullins;

Kitzbuhel was spectacular on the ground and the track in winning the Kauto Star. People kept asking me where he was going next straight afterwards but one thing is for sure, he’ll be the first one from our yard entered for the King George if Kempton is still alive and going next year.
He was very good and showed huge scope and Paul and himself got on like a house on fire. It was great to watch.

Kiss Will - He will come on a lot for his run in Fairyhouse where he was a shade unlucky maybe and we expect him to make significant improvement which will leave him a great position going into this race. I expect a big run.
