2026 Novice Chasers

He didn't show much of an appetite to run good ones in the JR last year.

2 will likely run elsewhere

One fairyhouse and one aintree?

Plus the jack richards
He ran four in it last year so who knows. There's loads more he has too that could go to aintree and fairyhouse or drop down to handicaps - kaid dauthie, kiss will, game of inches, ballygunner castle etc

yeah not a race he seems like he's any intention of having a go at

Like been mentioned on here plenty - he doesnt really bother with the hcap chases

All different owners i guess

Elliott said: “He’s going to go to for the two-mile race. I think he’s probably better over further, but we’ll learn where we are going for the rest of the season after the 26th.”

Not sure if this has been posted already. Regarding Romeo Coolio

Someone put Jimmy Du Seuil up?

Fair bit of blue today for him.

Think 50’s Regents Stroll for the BANC could well prove to be generous .
Yes he’s that price for reasons , the main one for me is his not settling,, but at that price I’m taking the chance that can be sorted.
He’s for me as talented as any Nov chaser I’ve seen this season when it comes to jumping, along with Romeo. Think he’s classy.
Also covered for any race as no surprise if he’s running over shorter come March.
See how he runs today.

And you could always fluke a winner with the any race bet in a handicap like i did with caldwell potter last season

Happy with how Regents settled today
Be interesting to hear what connections are thinking about his next race

Jockey says he’s a 3 miler so happy with that.
Trainer saying not sure where next, options in the Spring though with Aintree and Cheltenham mentioned which is no surprise.
Sounds like they are going careful with him this season.
Fascinating stuff.

Nico got to be getting a ban for that shambolic public school
Shocking, wasn't it. It's more obvious in a 2-horse race, but my goodness me ... It does detract from the winner too. The effort Nico went to not to win.

I suppose given the huge fee they paid going softly softly and trying to guarantee a long career makes sense
