Won well considering pre race will come on for the run comments. Big westerner nice too….needs every bit of 3m though

Drift suggested there's a bit to come potentially as well. Thought he was quite good.

Patrick penalty as well. Although that would be a concern going forward against Final Demand potentially as well...

Looked like TBW blew up 2 out, she ran a great race, good few in behind worth noting for another day too...2 of JP's(Colms & Gordons), Meet & Greet are just 3 I'd keep an eye on.

Hopefully they'd give Danny the leg up, gave him a peach in the Coral Cup.

Not sure the mares is enough of a test unless the ground was bottomless, though may not stop her running there
She's just ran JDS to 4 lengths over just shy of 2&3/4 miles. How many of the Mares Chase field could manage that?

Jimmy Du Seuil looked immaculate there and he's definitely got an engine. I think he could be a real challenger to Final Demand. The Big Westerner for the Mares Chase I'd say after that.
The Mares Chase trip is way too short for TBW, she needs further.

On the winner, he added: "Danny [Mullins] has been schooling him but he didn’t fill me with confidence! He said he might hurdle a few of them.

"The plan wasn't to make the running, but I wanted to let him look at his jumps and he measured them all great."

What are the thoughts on the drinmore tomorrow? Coolio looks solid, but a no bet at 1/2. Half tempted by the Mullins horse with decent experience at 4/1, or am I losing the plot 😂😂

Very interesting comment. One thing i did note from his win was how low he was at several of the fences. Would need to be foot perfect to get away with it at Cheltenham. Only first run though and could well improve his technique.

Has just given me the thought of Ballyburn at Kempton and Majborough in the Arkle. Both didn’t exactly take to the UK fences in those races. Hope Jimmy doesnt follow that path but something to look out for the next day.

The Nov chaser I’ve been most impressed with so far, have him for both Arkle and BANC courtesy of WTAF last time, but a tad concerned he might be an inbetween one
Watch race and no bet imo

Fair comments. I too see him as potentially the best novice at 2m4 (just quite short tomorrow based on jumping 6 fences LTO, albeit impressively). Would be all over him for the turners if it were still about, just not sure he’ll be quite G1 at 2 or 3 miles….we wait and see!

Very interesting that Willie has pitched Gold Dancer in against such a hot pot here. I think it's a fact finding mission. He seems to have taken Willie by surprise a bit and is obviously on the upgrade. Patrick was pretty dismissive about him racing on anything worse than good ground so this will be interesting. Willie was far more complimentary about him in one of the stable tours. It's an intriguing entry and one that has made me reach for the 33/1 on offer for the BANC. That race is shaping up to be a Willie Mullins benefit but if they are good enough, they are good enough and i don't mind having another dart in the race which is starting to look like one of my strongest.

Yeah, I’m hoping that as he seems to be GE’s best Nov chaser that he will want him at the festival, and to be fair he would not be the first Arkle winner to stay a fair bit further, been a few over the years.
I think 3m would be pushing it this season.

Don't dismiss Ol Man Dingle today. Trainer thinks very highly of him and form has been boosted..
