I backed manlaga and narcisso back in September….would be nice to have at least one of them run, even if they look up against it33s NRNB 365

Have her backed from early too, and again nrnb, and have always thought since narciso came out it would make sense for them to go with two here and two in the fred winter, so I hope she does go here. With the mares allowance added on in the grade one that would put her on 137, and the last day it looked like they were intent on not winning by too far with the fred winter in mind, so i could definitely see her having another good bit of improvement in her, which would put her right in the mix.I backed manlaga and narcisso back in September….would be nice to have at least one of them run, even if they look up against it![]()
You'd have to say that should Manlaga line up here she wouldn't be without a chance.Could be a lot shorter mate, especially if McManus is hav
The only thing he said was there wasn't much between the two JP horses in the Fred Winter. No mention of the Triumph.Manlaga being backed for the triumph, looks a bit weak on the exchange for the fred winter, nothing on the lay side.
Did henderson say something at a preview? Or is it coming out of nowhere? Can't see anything on twitter about her.
Welcome to the forum and I agree the trainer will be chuffed to bits to see the recent dry spell and I think he’s got a right chance . As you say the sire has a pedigree to die for and to throw Kalpana so early in his career and have 3 juveniles rated 129,129 and 139 from just his second crop with what looks like very limited opportunity is quite a start.Minella Study is beautifully bred from a who’s who of racing, with familiar names like Crepello, Sir Ivor, Busted, Nureyev, Shirley Heights, Sadlers Wells, Deep Impact and Galileo. His pedigree wouldn’t have looked out of place in a Derby entry so I’m sure he’ll be suited by the anticipated decent ground. He’ll do for me going by heart as well as head - as a kid I used to play on the beach he is trained on.
Yes and it isn’t just the sire. The dam brings at least three Derby winners - Galileo, Sir Ivor and Shirley Heights through different lines. Remarkable really. I bet Adam can’t believe his luck.Welcome to the forum and I agree the trainer will be chuffed to bits to see the recent dry spell and I think he’s got a right chance . Yeah I'm guessing it might be just a decision made by jp then. They've said a few times she'd like the ground soft, if thats because she wants further than two miles then maybe they think the likely quick ground on the sharper track on the tuesday might not be enough of a test for her. Or maybe jp's only just realised he already has two others for it with good chances and only one in the triumph. The only thing he said was there wasn't much between the two JP horses in the Fred Winter. Will probably come back and bite me for saying this but Brian Hayes riding puts me offMacho man out to 16s with coral. Am I missing something or is that a crazy price. Was pretty novicey on debut against proactif, yet still got quite close. With a bit of improvement could be bang there??
Wasn't he at Cheltenham yesterday? Flew back for Limerick today - 2 winners - and back tomorrow on the big stage. Will probably come back and bite me for saying this but Brian Hayes riding puts me off
Possibly, but it’s not Patrick on the other handWill probably come back and bite me for saying this but Brian Hayes riding puts me off
Always looked well held to me and presumably 4th choice at least for this (Paul/Danny/Patrick), not sure I’d be queueing up to back him even if it was just Willie’s running!Macho man out to 16s with coral. Just have to hope Jake the Snake Roberts doesn't have a king cobra waiting to bite him before the raceWasn't he at Cheltenham yesterday? Flew back for Limerick today - 2 winners - and back tomorrow on the big stage.
