That horses flat rating reminds me of a kid in my maths group at school, paul dodd.
Most called him "odd doddy", but I called him "Bill" after the birdwatcher fella off the goodies.

Did In My Teens find anything though? Hard one to judge I think

Almost looks too obvious for a boodles plot, you'd expect would have at least picked one of the 3 up infront, she was driven out enough

Maybe not, won't know for sure as jock didn't go on when she came cruising up alongside, tried being clever, instead, she fluffed the last and little and didn't respond how you'd hope she would.

Should have discounted her being a JP horse for the Triumph anyway, he already has his number 1 elsewhere!
 
Just watched it. Wasn't all that bad. All 6 horses within a couple of lengths of each other turning in suggests the race turned into a sprint and was outpaced at the finish after a bit of a slow jump at the last. Koktail Brut was 6 1/2 seconds faster in the following maiden carrying over a stone more in weight. However, the way he travelled suggests the Boodles could be up his street.
 
One Horse Town very resolute up that hill there.

Big mistake from Precious Man at the last but not convinced he gets by the winner there!

She done everything wrong the last day, mad keen, jumped markedly to her right, pretty much everything you'd not want to see, but she's had 5 weeks off to work on that.

It was, at best, an average enough performance, but they've sent out horses early, prior to winning this race, including both East India Dock & Allmankind.

She's a 66/1 (100/1 without cash out) poke for the Triumph. I don't think she's that level (I'm not mad keen on any of them for the Triumph that run on Saturday), but you'll get some sort of value should she prove good enough on Saturday.

Bit of place money made there.

Stayed on well enough up the hill, bit sketchy enough hurdling at times.

Cashed the Triumph ticket for no loss.

As expected and noted, better than that Pinatubo thing too!

Wonder if they'll be thinking Boodles for Kate, possibly.
