2026 Juveniles

Mange Tout so far for me, North Shore is the dark horse for me, when I say there's confidence behind him I'm underplaying how loud the dogs are barking.
33/1 for next week looks a cracking price. Race should cut up, doubtful will go Fred Winter as won't get the runs in, yard in much better form, soft/heavy ground forecast would be no issue. Worth a small bet e/w.

Theyve got the fred winter one already, theyve a able deputy too.

The entry that really caught the eye was Nickys new recruit for JP that I've mentioned on here previously - Mustang du Breuil. He was registered as out of training late Nov/Early Dec IIRC, so intriguing to see him being given a Triumph entry.

Well he gets entries in both the Scottish Supreme and Triumph

Weird with him showing as out of training on BHA

He relished testing conditions in the Prix Emilius (haven't a clue what conditions are like up in Scotland this week)

Looks like he's practically entered every juvenile he's bought in the Triumph

From the list, there is only Selma De Vary who is a winner already over hdles in FR, so she's an obvious one they'll pitch in (either here or Boodles, see how DRF goes)

Worth noting the following are entered in a juvenile this weekend @ Naas, the race previously won by Charlus and Ndaawi in previous years -

Beauvallon
Charme de Faust
Kai Lung
Majolique
Mon Creuset
Moulin Labbe

Would love to see Charme or Majolique contest that race. Had to go back in on Charme after only cashing her other night🙃 Triumph 'the dream' with Majolique too from racing manager - although wasn't expected out for another couple weeks.

….Mustang du Breuil highlighted by tipster Mark Howard yesterday, general 33-1 TH.

Dignam.,.

Potentially the Triumph Hurdle, but he has other options as well in the Fred Winter, too. The plan would be that he would appear somewhere at Cheltenham, but it's all to be discussed closer to the time.

Ricci saying Selma de Vary intended runner @ DRF all being well with work tomorrow on Unbridled

He couldn’t wait to mention her is the vibe I got.

Yeah mentioned twice with her, will be mega tough to beat the race fit pair top of the market though

But any run getting with a few lengths of them 2, will be very promising.

Also gives nice mention to charme de faust tomorrow

Not sure I'd listen to Ricci when he starts talking up his own horses. Reminds me of Trump talking about all the wars he's ended. Given by how they ran subsequenlty, it looks like Selma de Vary beat a load of slow trees at Auteuil last time.

Hard to be too confident re. the ones in behind on her last run in the Pre Catelan

The 3 of the 4 in behind her all ran in the Prix Jean Sens on ground that was very testing even for FR.

Was more the way she won the race having made up ~20L or so in the mid part

Even then if that didn't enthuse too much, the 2 runs in the spring were in behind proper quality opposition, finishing in behind the best juvenile fillies in FR.

She looked a difficult enough ride in France but probably won’t be much of an issue in a small field this weekend and at least we know PMullins won’t do the weight

Rich Ricci talking up his horses? Yeah, think I will give that a miss!

Reckon Charme will probably win well today, be his Triumph horse and Selma will be beat at the DRF and end up a Boodles horse, albeit she'll be high enough in the weights.

She should be winning today with the fillies and non winner allowance.
