2026 Juveniles

Might be worth seeing how Macho Man and Proactif go on Wednesday as Bertutea could get a little push out even further (maybe unlikely)

Wouldn't surprise me myself if Paul gets on the filly Selma de Vary in the DRF though.

Selma de Vary clear 3rd favourite for the Spring Juvenile now with Flutter. 👀

Who??

How you backed every Mullins horse that exists Darlo??

Only on Pro, Narciso and her big prices BFX ya fecker :ROFLMAO:

Did mention her 20s EW few weeks back

While both Mange Tout and Highland Crystal, two unbeaten four-year-old fillies, are entered in the Gannon’s City Recovery & Recycling Services Juvenile Hurdle, one is likely to run at Doncaster this weekend instead.

“At the moment Mange Tout looks the pick of our juveniles. We’ll probably run her, Barbizon and Immediate Effect. We could run Hardy Stuff as well.

“Mange Tout was good at Down Royal and Fairyhouse and she’s won in France before that, she’s a good mare, we like her. We’ll probably split her and Highland Crystal up, they are both in at Doncaster this weekend and both owned by Robcour. It looks like Highland Crystal could go to Doncaster.”

The plan is to send Manlaga to Doncaster for a Listed race there as opposed to running her at Cheltenham, however this race is there to fall back on.
“I’m not quite sure why she has been such a talking horse as she has only had the one run, but she is a sweet filly.
“She won her race well enough. She does everything you ask of her, and no more, or no less.
“Those Auteuil hurdle races are classed as a Grade Two so unless you go into a decent race you have to carry a ten pound penalty. That is a massive penalty for a smallish filly, with little experience. To walk into a normal race giving them ten pounds is difficult.
“We have waited for this as it is a fillies’ juvenile hurdle, and it is a Listed race, so it is the obvious race for her, with only a three pound penalty.”

Mullins has some number of juveniles, I'd like to see him running a couple in the novice races getting the 10lbs

Had a good look at this race and unless something has not been seen yet minella study stands out for me at 16s , unfashionable trainer and if it was a Skelton or Henderson horse would be half that price

Looks like he's practically entered every juvenile he's bought in the Triumph

From the list, there is only Selma De Vary who is a winner already over hdles in FR, so she's an obvious one they'll pitch in (either here or Boodles, see how DRF goes)

Worth noting the following are entered in a juvenile this weekend @ Naas, the race previously won by Charlus and Ndaawi in previous years -

Beauvallon
Charme de Faust
Kai Lung
Majolique
Mon Creuset
Moulin Labbe

Would love to see Charme or Majolique contest that race. Had to go back in on Charme after only cashing her other night🙃 Triumph 'the dream' with Majolique too from racing manager - although wasn't expected out for another couple weeks.

The entry that really caught the eye was Nickys new recruit for JP that I've mentioned on here previously - Mustang du Breuil. He was registered as out of training late Nov/Early Dec IIRC, so intriguing to see him being given a Triumph entry.

Blimey - Looking at the machine, you could lose a fortune backing them all at those tempting prices!

It's the mullins dartboard approach, he ran 10 last year he used every unemployed jockey he could find.

I think the Finesse at Cheltenham this Saturday looks well up to scratch. Three very interesting fillies (including Tenter Le Tout who was very impressive at Chepstow) plus the Skelton and Nicholls geldings having looked mustard so far. Hopefully Elliott sends Hardy Stuff over as he has collateral form ties with some of the better Irish juveniles.

If anyone hasn't already done it, make sure you watch Tenter Le Touts race at Chepstow back. Her jumping technique and quick hurdling was as good as any Champion Hurdler I've seen. Quite exceptional from that of a juvenile. Not sure if she'll be good enough on Saturday but I'll definitely be having a bet on her. The ground won't be an issue to her which is a bonus.
