2026 Champion Hurdle

Glad i had a bit of reflection as that's the easiest money I've ever made.

Would be interesting to see what he'd do over 1m4/1m6 on the flat.

Suspect he'd destroy them, but hope he does have one last go

That was awesome to watch

He wouldve been a group 1 1m4f horse a couple of seasons ago i have no doubt

Just had a big smile on my face when they turned in to the finish line

Thankfully i decided place laying one of my favourite horses wasnt cricket

I'd imagine they give him some time off and take in some group races this flat season.

You'd think flat campaign would be most likely now. The logical call on the back of that surely.

Fav on exchanges for Champion Hurdle currently though!

Not beaten much though has he?

I'll get my coat ......................

Hes a jumps horse

Give him a go at redemption

Very confident id be choking back the tears if he won the champion hurdle

The best hurdler i have ever seen and likely ever will.

Others may have stayed at the top longer but none of them wouldve beaten him in his supreme or churdle. sometimes the brightest stars dont shine for long. Like brazilian ronaldo in football.

The prize money at york for the ebor is huge. Why not have a go.

Loved that. Got a nice ticket on him for the C.Hurdle but i loved watching that and would happily throw it away. I would rather see him mixing it on the flat in the summer than killing himself for the sake of one day in March

That was very impressive, certainly no doubting his engine.

Just worry about him now going for the champion. More so as I’ll be there should the worst happen. Understand he’s a jump horse but I’m in the same space as Q about this all.

They have an opportunity now to keep things sweet, for horse and themselves.
No doubt in my mind he would not run in the Champion hurdle if they still had the FAV.
So running him is risking too much IMO.

I'd have been perfectly fine running him had it not been for all the emotional talk after the last fall and tonight's carry on.

It will make them look like hypocrites if they run him now and whilst a win would be great, anything else and they are back with the tissues out for the wrong reasons.

I said it before tonights race but nothing beats him in the Champion Hurdle if he can stay up.

His engine is incredible. Sir Gino wouldn't live with him if they met.

Obviously I have him backed for the CH, but I'd not be sure that's the way they'd go now even if it's what I think they should do.

They will. That's the race for him definitely.
Bear in mind - Nicky just said he's not a Summer flat horse !
Whatever the fuck that means.
He's also previously said that he wouldn't stay in an Ascot Gold cup.
