2025 Ryanair Chase

Thanks Chairman_meow, my mate places my bets for me. He managed to find it. Thanks for highlighting lads, and thanks again for the help.

Have had some pennies on Jonbon at big prices on Betfair for this race, just in case Energumene kicks him out the way in the Clarence House. It wouldn't be a million for them to put him up in trip, where connections know he stays.

Could easily happen. Not backed Energumene but I reckon the WTAF Clarence might be the best bet to get him on board for anyone wanting too.

Energumene is one I'm willing to let go and if he wins so be it, I'll take it like a man ! :biggrin-new:

Me too. Reckon him and Bon Jovi will go hell for leather and leave their festival races at a Soft ground Ascot.

Both times Energ won the CC he ran in the soft in the Clarence House the run before.
One of which was at Ascot in the race with Shishkin.

Yep, Shishkin left his race there I remember. Energumene needs deep hock ground to be at his very best. Was really lucky to get it both times he won when the Wednesday was like a swamp.

Does he though? or we coming to that conclusion because all he's basically ever ran on is soft going? Familiar with it yes, but does he need it...

Maybe, but the fact is he never left his race there, which is my point.

He didn’t need it when pissing up in an Irish CC on good to yielding .
I do think he’s better chance on soft as he seems to handle it better than some others?
But he has proved he’s good on decent ground.

Yes, to be at his very best.

A bit like Bon Jovi and his Cheltenham exploits, he's not quite there at the top table unless it's deep. Very, very good but a few pounds below.

Maybe.Maybe not.
Ive said my bit re J and Cheltenham. Not going there again!!:welcoming:

:welcoming::welcoming: I'm not sure even the posh bloke would have made any difference to his defeats at the Festival.

Not quiet so easily now as J not entered for Ryan
Energ is though.
Maybe it will happen the other way round?
