2024 Champion Bumper (A FLAT RACE)

Yep that's the usual trend. Everyone jumping in though probably hoping he's entered tomorrow for Saturday too!

Even if a horse that is liked is entered for Saturday too, until the decs and jockey bookings are out, it's still unknown which horse will be 'the one'. Looking at the Friday entries I'd say he's got the majority of his best one's (from my perspective) entered so impossible to know who's going to stand their ground.

Yeah we won't know what's going to be running, on the friday or saturday, so I suppose it's probably best just to play it cool

I’ve picked the wrong one by the look of things
DB:confusion:

Could be one of many. We'll have to wait until decs day to be sure. No one knows at this point. Apart from Gord and Co of course!

Romeo was mentioned as a dark horse in the Gordon RP stable tour, I played it at the time at 27/1 (Boosted).

Will it look like a nice bet by Sunday? I hope so as I've chucked in a fair few block bets at 25s!

On Cloud Wine as short as 14/1 for the Bumper with 365, has something been said?

I got my brother to RAP with all available bookies after watching Joe Chambers feature on the Racing Post preview. Was hoping keep the chat to a minimum until WH’s next Epic Boost as I used this weeks on Romeo Coolio.

I backed it him with Hills following that interview and the write up in the OJA book last week at 25s.

Must have been something said elsewhere for bet365 to have gone soo short.

Did he not open that price with them?

Pretty sure he did Jim. Denise being tighter than a ducks arse in this instance. I think he’s thought more highly than Sip Sip Hurray etc so hope the 20’s last a while longer.

I think the current prices of all bookies are exactly where they opened, 365 have just taken a view.
I wouldn't read too much into it, their opening ante post percentages last year were horrific, worst on the market, I seem to remember their Champion Hurdle market running at over 200% in April and only 7/8 horses quoted...

Powder dry now for me. Not sure what next weekend will indicate, and it’s Xmas time and willies entries that I’ll concentrate on now.

Personal Ambition wins well on hurdling debut for Ben Pauling. PA was 3rd to Cantico in his point who is with Mullins for Souede and Munir.

I guess we're still none the wiser of Elliott's bumper horse. Can only assume a change in how he is campaigning them or the postponement changed their planning.
