2024 Champion Bumper (A FLAT RACE)

I'd mark him up for that considering the drift but none of the bumper horses this year look to be as good as the top of last year's and the year before class.

The 2ndand 3rd had the benefit of a run last month and he's walloped the Mullins horse.

Maughreens out on Monday anyway...

Mostly likely other plans than Chelt for her, not one to back anyway

Do you happen to know the plans for Baby Kate R4H?

Mullins crop does seem a little below what may need to be required this season, albeit you did say it was a smaller crop this year also

DRF with Aurora V was last I heard, so assume that's still the plan.

Always more likely this season given the size and where they have concentrated buys on a certain type of horse the past year ; just think is the usual ante stuff people thinking he must have a superstar and become accustomed too it. Wouldn't give up on Cantico though he's just a very raw and immature which was the worry pre-run.

Has anything ran a big debut RPR? Right now its just joystick and wingmen that if you was taking the bumper stats as gospel, they would be the only horses that will be placing or winning!

Can't ignore Maughreen at 20/1 NRNB for the Bumper.

Odds on, running in a race tomorrow that's been won by Relegate previously, who did go on to win at the festival (albeit at 25/1 SP)

Walk In The Park mare, Patrick gives a goold mention on the RP website

Can't ignore. Go on Maughreen the Machine!

If she doesn't get a DRF entry or didn't take it up I wouldn't be completely surprised given they could wait 6 weeks now knowing there's no standout horse R4H.

Heaven knows what she’s beat but that looked a very nice introduction

….Maughreen now a general 8-1 for CB, inc NRNB.

i imagine she’ll be very short when the market forms for next years MNH.

Still no plans for Cheltenham? I hope not as cashed out after you said this but appreciate plans can change

She really does look special and agree a spitting image of Faugheen. She would bolt up in the Bumper if she went for it. Love to get a price on her to win a Champion Hurdle.

I believe the chat in the ring afterwards was more towards Aintree, but as always Willie will decide that in March!

None of the best girls go to the Cheltenham Bumper.

Yep - most people don't like bringing good mares to the race.

Fun Fun Fun a good example of how things can go for Mares there , which was a late u-turn by the owners to run rather than Willie.

I would keep the faith on Cantico coming good before March, lot to come there

….lots of blue on Oddschecker for Cantico this morning, 25-1 a bit of a standout with 365.

MAUGHREEN got a 121rpr for her debut.

So with the mares allowance factored in that equates to 128 which puts her joint top on ratings so far.
