Heather Something, can't even be arsed to Google it:biggrin-new:

S Club 7 are reuniting, I doubt the years have been kind to a few. The tall brunette probably still the pick for me.

Yeah, the foreign looking one with the moody face.

Personally find John Lennon's solo stuff to be a bit shite, was going to say it was still better than Wings but actually, they had a couple of bangers. Didn't think I'd be on here bigging up McCartney tonight but here we are.

Maybe I’m Amazed is an all timer.

Mentioned I was at a preview night last night in Dublin that wasn't streamed or recorded, below are a few snippets worth highlighting. In normal years you get a lot of good info (one year Gordon was hammered and gave a lot of winners), but this year was a pretty timid affair. I think the swarm of preview nights now that everyone is exposed to, most of the good info is already out there. And most of these nights are now catering for the casual fan who tunes into the sport a week or two before the big week - this forum is better than any number of preview nights IMO.

Panel: Davey Casey (DC), Gary O'Brien (GO'B), Gordon Elliott (GE), Davy Russell (DR), Johnny Dineen (JD), Kevin O'Ryan was MC

Supreme - FV working very well since Leop (DC)
Ultima - Corach Rambler for Davy Russel NAP
Ch Hurdle - Gordon to run Zanahayir, if you can back e/w without fav, very good bet (33s with B365)
Boodles - DC gave Tekao as one of his best bets of the meeting. (From past experience, when DC gives a view like this without explaining why, it's generally a good omen. He gave Concertista one year when she just got touched off in the Mares Nov Hurdle)
NHC - GE to run Minella Crooner, thinks hes very good chance (no mention Chemical Energy)
Ballymore - IEP is different class to everything else, still no idea how good he is (DC), can't wait to jump a fence with him, his NAP of the week. GE won't run anything here, Absolute Notions will go to Aintree.
RSA - Gerri Colombe a 'good thing' (GE). Debate between GE and DC about Sir Gerhard, mentioned he had knee issues when GE trained him, prob the reason he hasn't been seen much this year
Queen Mother - DC rides out Gentleman De Mee every day, can't believe he has won grade 1s over 2 miles, he's a 3 mile plus animal in his eyes. Wouldn't lace Energumene's boots pretty much is how he summed up his chances. Didn't see real Energumene LTO.
Cross Country - GE announces Davy Russell will ride Galvin (Gigginstown decision). Davy seemingly on fence who to ride before they met (GE and Gigginstwon) to discuss jockey bookings and Eddie O'Leary said fine, we won't have him on our lad so (tongue in cheek analysis but it probably is how it happened). I ask DR during the break who rides Delta Work and he reckons Keith Donoghue.
CH Bumper - DC couldnt believe FunFunFun performance LTO, she only half fit he reckoned. Has Fact to File highly regarded in yard, that JP Buying Dream to Share after he beat him only enhances both reputations. Can't wait for next year with F2F for Albert Bartlett trip. All panel pretty much unanimous in Dream to Share being the outstanding horse so far this year
Turners - GE said Mighty Potter bomb proof. Said he lost the head last year going to post in supreme and once he clattered a hurdle or two Jack Kennedy wisely pulled him up. Says he has matured no end since last year.
Pertemps - GO'B put Shoot First as his Nap of meeting
Stayers - Johnny Dineen has HomebytheLee as his NAP E/W
Mares Nov Hurdle - DC said Lot Of Joy the best in Mullins yard. GE gave good praise for Halka du Talbert, DR to ride. Princess Zoe's owner in audience, said he cant get over the price. He then put 5 grand E/W at 12s, 4 places with a local bookie who was sponsoring the preview night (confidence in his lady).
Triumph - Willie wins it. DC big fan of Blood Destiny but debate ensued over who rides it, Davy Russell asks can he. DC reckons Rachael Blackmore will ride something else from Henry's. Be huge plus is either Danny or Paul T ride Blood Destiny
County - GE will run Pied piper, big chance E/W. GO'B gave Filey Bay as another NAP
AB - GE has strong hand, reckons 3CB prob his strongest but Favori de Champ also big player.
Gold Cup - Gordon hopefull on Conflated, if GDC stays the trip he wins however
Mares Chase - Allegorie De Vassy a good thing in DC eyes (again as mentioned above, one line positive answers from DC are to be listened to)
Pipe - Gordon highlighted Cool Survivor and Imagine, gave Cool Survivor as one of his best bets of meeting

Some shockers in there......no mention of Chemical Energy....ouch!........No runner for Gord in Ballymore.
....That means American Mike not running then ! Lot of Joy best of Willies....like that.

Cheers for posting.

Maybe I’m Amazed is an all timer.

Certainly is. I’m a big Macca Fan, he’s made some crap, but the good stuff is fantastic. I’m always in awe of songwriters, just magic out of knowhere

Think it was Saxon who confessed encouragement for Mark Colwell. He's the antithesis of the typical podcast, both in terms of age (they're all barely out of school and seem to be in their bedrooms, with mum downstairs getting their dinners ready) whereas Martin is closer to 60, if not beyond, and sounds like he's certainly captain of all his domain, because he films mostly from the kitchen!!

Love the directness, but then struggle to appreciate him when he himself stumbles over horses names. Don't think he'd work that well in a group session. With Mark, he just says what he feels. I'd say him and Mark Mackay would be great gas!!

Superb Partridge-esque moment 50 seconds in too.

Colwell is a lovable fool.
You'll get no insight from him, that's for sure.
I am a subsriber though, because he loves his mum and i find him unintentionally funny to watch.

Latest Ep of Road to Cheltenham was a great watch. Going over some of history's greats and looking at some that may hit stardom next week.

Refressshinngg from the usual preview circuit
