I doubted him based on what he had done.
I'm ok to be proven wrong on this occasion, where there was no form lines to tie up nor any decent sectional data.

I honestly cant see how anyone could have boldly predicted he'd won by 240000 lengths today

Surely the closing furlongs of his hurdles debut were very strong sectionals

To the eye he was flying after the last that day

Haha I quite agree, the winning distance was certainly exceptional, I don't think many would have that on the cards, no matter how good he had looked previously.

I think a fair few were doubting him on his form, but form is only a guide. I'd say the heavy ground in the Tolworth with hindsight, of course, probably held him back from winning a ridiculous margin based on what we saw today on better ground.

I think the main issue many had with him was his price. Clearly, on this occasion, the bookies got it bang on, installing him as favourite a fair way out from the festival.

Now I just hope they go chasing with him, but sounds like he could stay over hurdles :hopelessness:

Was worth the entrance fee alone, personally would love to see him aimed at next year's champion hurdle but he's some horse to look forward to, wherever he goes. Gutted about shallwehaveonemore, r.i.p.

The thing with his price was he'd hardly been mentioned prior to his debut win, then after that he was around 10s but the day after hed won Kilcruit who was big fav at the time was stuffed on his debut and con hill was halved in price to around 5s and fav which left hardly any time for anyone to get onboard

Bingo, his price was shocking once he had won the tolworth, and given who field he was lining up against.
Beast of a horse. Beast

Wow wow wow!!!
I think he Has to be the best supreme performance I’ve seen.
Jumped superb, travels like a dream and what an engine.
Hes the best hurdler around already imo, and I really hope he stays hurdling.
Shame I never had a price on him, and I was at Sandown for his debut and backed Might I !! Oh well.
I think most of us on here missed out on prices, but I do remember my envy when someone posted that he was 33 before his first race……think it was Rooster Booster.
Hats off sir, if it was you.
End of the day though, we will all remember this Supreme, and we should all look forward to watching his future unfold.
One to treasure imo.

He certainly was. I hope he stays hurdling. We need more strength in depth in the hurdling division although his performance may put others off staying over the smaller obstacles.

Still can't believe it, had him covered with tolworth double, but never thought I'd witness a display like that.

For the future I'd say stays over hurdles for at least another season. Only 5, small horse and nicky and Micheal already talking about it.

He's just broken the track record, has to go Champion next year. Jonbon built like a chaser and he ran a cracker aswell.

I'm a believer now, Constitution Hill has stolen my heart.

Bronn is 100/1 for the Supreme with PP or BFSB (66/1 with 365)

He's odds on tomorrow (10/11) in a race that Willie won with Asterion Forlonge in 2020 which booked him a place in the G1 at the DRF, that he subsequently won and went off as Mullins' [NODE="1"]Home[/NODE] in the Supreme.

Been bought by Suede/Munir - absolutely no relevance but they had Blue Lord run on the same card last year (in the Lawlors) before also going to the DRF....

So what I'm essentially saying, is if a Mullins odds on shot wins tomorrow, he probably books himself a run at the DRF.....

100/1 is much bigger than we'd expect, right? :indecisiveness:

Nearly a year to the day!

"My name is I am Maximus.
Commander of the Fat Jockey army of punters.
General of the Seven Barrows gallops.
Loyal servant to the true Supreme Emperor, Nicholas John Henderson.
Gelded son of an Epsom Derby winner, grandson of a French champion sire.
And to those who mock my ungainly jumping, come March 15th, I will have my vengeance."

It's only taken two years, a change of owner and a change of trainer but he finally bags a grade 1. Go on 'The Crab'!! :applouse:

Hahaha, brilliant.
:applause:

I assume Willie was plotting out the 2m grade 1 with Ballyburn at Christmas timing wise it makes sense but with him getting beaten I wouldn’t be surprised to see Mirazur West declared for Cork next weekend & if he were to to have a glorified racecourse gallop roles may reverse! But Willie usually opts for more time between races.

Could even send Ballyburn to the maiden hurdle on 26th. The one Sir Gerhard debuted in. That’d keep the timing of his schedule. Daddy Long Legs will definitely go to the Grade 1. The. As you say maybe Mirazur West.
