2022 Ryanair Chase

Hitman looks a horse who will always flatter to deceive to me.
Had my boots on him at Sandown when he came down but looking at how strongly he travelled there and got picked up suggests he won't ever be a horse to rely on.
Yes he's a 5yo and has time but when you look at the crudentials of a few others for me he can't possibly be fancied for this...

That was Hitman's first run after a wind op, sometimes a horse wont fully put it in straight after one so i would be inclined to give him one more go.

Trouble I have with Hitman is what is his trip? doesn't possess the speed to mix it at 2m imo and over further has finished tamely a couple of times. has a bright future but not sure what I'd do with him.

He needs a jockey not weak as piss on his back, maybe get bryony on him instead

….firms cutting Fakir D’oudairies into as low as 7-1 (365) after that win. Still 13-1 with Ladbrokes boost.

"That was a good performance, he loves that ground and you couldn't ask for better because the other horses were fit from the summer. He'll have an entry in the King George and the Savills Chase over Christmas." Frank Berry - Fakir D'oudairies

Very impressed with that - could well be a top, top notch renewal of the KG.

…JoB mentioned running him over 3m in his stable tour & somebody on here suggested GC as a possibility.

Ladbrokes either slow to react or holding 12-1 Ryanair whilst 66-1 is available for GC.

Would be great to see FD get his head in front at the Fest. Hes due one.
No way will he stay the GC trip.

Sounds like they certainly haven't given up on the GC dream. Can easily fall back into the 2nd class Ryanair if they have too.

I'd have said the same about a plus tard this time last year

hes only 6 going on 7 and may be able to stay further now

Christmas will tell us more

Yep. :encouragement:
A Plus Tard was similar prices 50/66's and over 100-1 on exchange this time last year.

King George at Kempton easy 3m yes. Cheltenham Gold Cup 3.2 and a bit miles with an up hill finish, No how no way. More chance of me spouting a fanny and i didnt the last time i said it.

Wasn’t stopping at the end there so KG could be. A stepping stone to the GC.. Took the 66s with cashout on offer about GC a few weeks back and saw that Sky and others are still unmoved .
‘If’ it wins the KG…. Single figure price maybe for GC ?

What makes you so convinced he can't stay ?

I'll get you some Veet for Xmas. Not into bushes.

He has to much speeds in my book. I cashed out my E/W gold cup bet after he tried 3m in Ireland last season. Im not into the breeding side of horse racing but can someone who is look and see if he would stay the GC trip on breeding?

Same daddy as A Plus Tard & Clan des Obeaux, and not renowned for producing out and out stayers, but they aren't far off.

I think you're on the right lines, but probably dangerous to be so adamant, although having a fanny as well as a penis probably ain't a bad thing, as long as it's in the right place and not in the way of anything else.

So you can't lose IMO :cheerful:
