Hoping Burning Victory runs well tomorrow but I really like Queens Brook for this race. She hasn't been seen for 3 months but I think there's bags of improvement to come and she's still being overlooked.

Burning Victory has first time cheekpieces tomorrow.
Hopefully that will be another help on the jumping front.
Big day for her and any realistic chance at the festival.

…..Sky have win tomorrow & MH

Burning Victory 16-1
Queens Brook 33-1

Would be wary of the queens brook 33-1...She might well need the race, Gordon mentioned that she takes a bit to get fit...

Queen Brook not strong in the market at the moment but 33/1 to win today and the mares hurdle got to be worth a go. Burning Victory isn’t exactly bomb proof.

Queens Brook to lose today and win the Mares is the bet again then

What do I know, but my head tells me today is about getting Queens Brook fit for 2 weeks on Tuesday. Same route as Black Tears last year.

Black Tears was a 148 rated mare. Queens Brook is rated 131 and by Gordon's own admission is difficult to train and keep fit. She's a watching brief for me until she shows something on a racecourse that warrants being 10/1. She could win today and take a big step forward but that would be a bold shout given quotes from GE and the market move from 10/3 to 6/1. If she ran with credit but lost today and was pushed back out I might add her.

Good win from BV. But seemed lazy on the run in. Maybe I'm being picky.

Still, glad to see the win today and fez go in. Small consolation following GQ news.

As a big Queens Brook backer & supporter I was very pleased with that. Will come on plenty & another step towards the main target. Pocket talking but I’d be confident she’ll reverse placing with BV at the festival

Well that provides as many questions as answers

Paul stole 5 lengths at the start and only won by 2

We now have a potential third pace angle in the race

Burning Victory jumped way better until the last using those forcing tactics so they will likely look to use them again

which plays into the hands of TMSG, maries rock and the other horses that will be ridden patiently

Queens brook ended up running a very nice race given she was conceding weight and race fitness to a horse rated 12lbs higher than her

Both a sea of blue on oddschecker

Skybet pushed BV out after that 9s NRNB and 10s Antepost. Bizarre

Have taken the 12s on Queens Brook

Think that is more than fair after a very promising run

….be interested in any post-race quotes on Queens Brook from connections.

I hope not but she's a fair horse BV.

Just thought she was tying up at the end and carried her head awkwardly. Should be beating the 2nd a lot easier getting weight from an inferior horse. Not for me.
