Have a to agree was a very nice performance today and Barbados gives it a decent look being a proper flat horse. Hopefully he proves better over further as he looked outpaced round the side of the track so agree the AB could be on his radar.

Taken the 33/1 for My Mate Mozzie Ballymore.

Just be aware of Cromwell's comments after the race that they'll stick at 2m (at least for the time being).#

I had backed it after the race Ista and just catching up on all the threads.

Not to worry, I won’t rush to cover the supreme just yet will wait and see where he’s pitched next time :encouragement:

Elliot on Gerri Columbe: Gerri Colombe doesn’t do anything fancy at home, but he’s been very good on the track. He won both his bumpers very well last season and we are going to go novice hurdling with him. He’ll probably start off at two miles, but I could see him stepping up to two-and-a-half miles as the season progresses. We are quite excited about him.

One I like for the Ballymore and have backed at 33/1.

Gordon's quote does give the impression he's his best Novice Hurdler and he normally sends them down the Ballymore route.

To be honest I've been sat on the slip a while after my own views and then reinforced by mentions in the books. It's nice to have some at a decent price in the book who might actually give the shorties something to think about.

I've been waiting for a comment like this and some distance clarification before backing Gerri Colombe. If Robcour split up their horses, this surely increases the likelihood of Journey With Me to the Albert Bartlett too.:semi-twins:

Like you’re thinking SS. 883/1 for the related double. Yes please.

Dysart dynamo for the ballymore or supreme?

Ballymore for me. He’ll no doubt start over shorter but I have a feeling he’ll be one of a few that can and will need to step up in trip.

Mullins has an army for all novice hurdle races so he won’t be able to split them all if he tried.

Was thinking the same, will he not be put off with kilcruit looking like ballymore? Maybe AB

If Willies bumper horses and French recruits all fulfil the talk surrounding them, he won’t have an easy time splitting up horses at all.

Kilcruit, Sir G, Dysart, Dark Raven, Hubrisko + a couple of other Riccis, State Man, Bring On The Night, 2 x CPS and probably more.

Love GE’s comments re Hollow Games with a view to this:

He’s a very nice horse that we think a lot of. We decided not to run him in the Champion Bumper as we didn’t think it was the right thing to do with a big horse like him at that stage of his career. He schooled very well over hurdles at Tipperary last week and as soon as we get some rain, he’ll be ready to start off over hurdles. He’s probably a horse that will stay, but I wouldn’t be afraid to start him at two miles either. We’re really looking forward to him.

Kilcruit goin supreme IMO

Ballymore or Albert for me. Impossible to predict though. He has an army of potentially top Novice Hurdlers. Too many even for him to look after. Bullets going everywhere. Anyone who thinks they've nailed where any of Willie's or Gordon's or Henry's Novices are going, Hurdlers or Chasers, think again. I'm thinking now I should have taken all those TWAR prices that we thought were to short about them. In view of what I've just said.......the prices were probably right. Great fun though and loads of twists and turns and out for the season news to hit us all yet. Magic Daze.

Yeah its just my idea of a supreme runner but without a doubt they will all be goin anywere

I actually think that having more depth in their battalion can make it easier to predict targets. As he'll have so many decent options for each race, there is more chance they’ll run in the right one as opposed to being forced into another, just so that they have a chance of more winners.

What do people think Hollow Games' target will be? Before this latest quote I had always assumed he would be a middle distance / staying type but this to me suggests he may be his Supreme horse (at least until he proves he doesn't have the gears). Can anyone think of a viable Supreme alternative to Hollow Games for Gordon particularly given his comments about Ginto, Three Stripe Life, Gerri Colombe and Au Fleuron?
