I read a quote somewhere from Nicky Henderson, saying that Kotkikova was wanting 3m...
Not yet seen in these shores, but entered for the Grade 1, 3m Christmas Hurdle at Leipardstown...
Henderson rates her VERY highly. 33/1 for this (40 in places) and 10's or 12's for the Mares...
Whilst UNWIMH looks very good, I'm thinking of a small stakes EW bet before the race on Wed.

Billymag I think is the man on the spot with that horse ... I think they'd go for the mares race this year if chasing is her long term target ... more gut than anything though ...

It wouldn't surprise me if one of the big firms went NRNB tomorrow or Saturday in the Championship races. There's no British racing so it would get plenty of publicity
FM - last year Skybet were NRNB on champs races from 16 Dec, surprised no-one's picked up on that, perhaps they took a bathing last year ?

I didn't realise it was that early. I wouldn't like to be the one trying to price up the Champion Hurdle NRNB. Wouldn't know where to start!
Would have to be odds on the pair.... Maybe 4/6? 1/2? Pfft I dunno I wouldn't do it either.
Disappointing they haven't done it about the same time to say the least...
NRNB in this race would be tough too....
Strongest indication yet about who Mullins will have for the World Hurdle... (speaking about VVM)

That is interesting regarding Jezki. He'll be plugging on late in defeat to Faugheen... before the rematch in the Stayers Hurdle 
I feel like VVM going off odds on against Snow Falcon, who was travelling well in behind UNWIMH when falling, doesn't fill me with confidence for UNWIMH.
Now I am on at 25s for UNWIMH so I am obviously pleased at the moment but VVM was odds on, and delivered, and a line through Snow Falcon (difficult as it is guess work) but I'd make her favourite of the two if they both lined up?

Harry Fry feels Ballyoptic could give ante-post favourite Unowhatimeanharry most to think about in the Sun Bets Stayers' Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.
The Seaborough handler rates the seven-year-old as a live danger should their paths cross in the Grade One on March 16, despite the fact Ballyoptic has failed to beat the JP McManus-owned Unowhatimeanharry in their two meetings this season
Although easily brushed aside by last year's Albert Bartlett winner on his return in a Grade Two at Newbury in November, the Nigel Twiston-Davies-trained Ballyoptic was still upsides the eight-year-old in last month's Long Walk Hurdle at Ascot before falling at the final flight.
Fry said: "(The Willie Mullins-trained) Vroum Vroum Mag is called the super-sub. She would be a superstar if she was in anyone else's yard as she is a talented mare, but I've only mentioned her as she won the three-mile hurdle at Leopardstown over Christmas.
"Of course you don't know where she will turn up at Cheltenham, but you have to respect her enormously if she did run in the Stayers' Hurdle.
"I think Ballyoptic should not be dismissed lightly at all. We beat him fair and square at Newbury, but he was running a very good race and would have been much closer to us if he had stayed up at the last at Ascot.
"Although Richard Johnson stopped short of saying he would have won, he clearly felt he was still in with a chance. He would be very interesting at the current prices."
Fry confirmed Unowhatimeanharry remains on course to make his next start at Prestbury Park later this month for a shot at the galliardhomes.com Cleeve Hurdle.
He said: "Unowhatimeanharry is in good order and is working towards the Cleeve Hurdle at the end of the month. Everything is going to plan so far.
"He was all wrong at the weights at Newbury and did much more than I expected and hoped for on his first start.
"He was put up 16lb for that and then another two for winning at Ascot. He has gone up 44lb in just over 12 months. I couldn't have expected that to happen in my wildest dreams.
"Hopefully it will continue, but it is only going to get more competitive and he will need to be at his very best."

Is it fair to assume that VVM will go for this? (Given AP and Faugheen are fit enough for CH and Mares...)
Faugheen is as short as 7/2 with Bet365, but 12/1 with PP and
Nichols Canyon is as short as 5/1, but also 12/1 with PP
(Whilst VVM can get found at 8/1, but 5/1 with PP)

Here or the Mares IMO. Looking at the way Quevega was campaigned I favour the Mares.

For me it makes the most sense vvm is the only one with a win over 3 miles I think. And surely if either ap or faugheen aren't 100% they don't want to be trying a trip there not guaranteed to stay.
I appreciate Harry has looked very good this season and done nothing wrong at all. However, I just can't see it winning this race. I just don't think it has the class to win this, I get the argument that it's the obvious target so can see why it's favourite taking all the possibilities of others into account. Regardless of what happens with Annie, Faugheen, VvM I still think Harry gets turned over in this race, even if none of the Mullins three turn up.
By who though?
UNWIMH has beaten all the challengers in front of him so far, and without one of those Ricci 3, if you did fancy one to beat him, now would be the time to place the bet?
