However Outland and Sub Lieu reversed the form this season, over a trip more similar and on Good ground, SL is 10/1 .... so probably not much juice in the price at all.

Trades 100 Gold Cup, 15.5 Ryanair, looks like decision made...
 
Thanks for the reminder OV, 14/1 taken 365.
Was very well fancied in last years JLT when an idiot starter didn't spot half a ton of thoroughbred horse facing the wrong way, decent ground works in his favour and I know they were very keen on a Gold Cup tilt so to go here suggests this is where they feel their best chance lay....
 
Took a flyer with Zabana for this a few weeks ago when most thought he was GC bound so I hope this is definitely his target now, have a decent bet on at 16's from a double I placed with Pougne Bobby, who won at 9/2
 
Also got some 14s about Zabana, has to have a huuuge chance in this on course form and on drying ground, which he'll like and UDS/Empire Of Dirt likely won't for my money.
 
I've pressed at 10/1 Zabana after Dob Poli pulled out of Gold Cup expecting EOD to head there now...
 
Obviously, it is down to the owners, not Elliott. Hopefully, they will think it more sensible to win their own race than throw a dart at the Gold Cup.

Unbelievable how many horses have failed to make the festival. I daren't calculate my non runner %, and the amount I'm down before the races even start.
Still it'll all be immaterial when Mayo's £2m bet comes in :highly_amused:

If EoD diverts I'm pretty much a one horse man in this race. Need those watering cans!

Later ones nrnb but first time I looked at the race and thought this could be his target was before, what's your one horse Kev, I'm thinking of Uxi
 
I've had a nibble at Vaniteux @ 33/1. Fehily is jocked up and this race has the potential to cut up badly.

The plan is to leave the ground as is for tues and wed and then they are going to water the course after racing on Wed. Good news for UDS. That was the news from Alister Downing on the Sunday forum this morning.

UDS ... certainly not a race I am in a good position though. Have some 5/1 on him but not enough to cover the losses on

Vautour, Valsuer Lido, Garde la Victoire, Black Hercules and Killultah Vic ...

About to concentrate on day one so will come back to this later.

Uxi good ground, UDS if any sort of soft?

I remember putting him up for a place a couple weeks ago and guys here saying he has no chance wherever he goes. Knowing the field will cut up, he will go off around 16-20/1 max.
