I wouldn't be too downbeat just yet, granted, on the face of it it's not looking great, but a 50% chance is better than none and I had noticed there was small exchange movement for him today in a positive way.

Current market now suspended on Betfair.

Edit: Just seen that entries will be announced today for it, hence the suspended market.

Ha Ha not too downbeat but really fancy this in this race and consequently have it in numerous doubles, trebles etc, after the news on Jenkins and others it just felt like a kick in the pants at the time!

Not entered. However, Irish Roe and Daphne du Clos are. Willie only entered five this time

I was reading his quotes earlier, and it didn't dawn on me that the entries had been made! Ah dear, wonder has the horse picked an injury up...has gone very quiet since his only run :grumpy:

Cheers!

Anyone have any idea if Samcro will be running at the festival? I've read some contradicting reports! My bet was matched on the exchanges a couple of months ago at 100/1, so hoping he turns up to give me a run for my money.

Not sure he's entered JKite. One for novice hurdles next season though.

@Jkite, majority of Giggy bumper horses never show at the Festival, granted i think one or two went from WPM last year....Often kept at home and given an easy year. O'Leary has very little time for them!

Yeah - Giggsinstown hate the race. Samcro is top of my list for the novice hurdles next season but I don't think he will run again this season.

Kevin Blake just put WR up as his best Wednesday bet, good boy Kevin

Kevin Blake puts up Western Ryder as his best bet of the Wednesday :triumphant::encouragement:

Gooooonyaboyaaaaa

Did see him put it up on the ATR megasite... in the long range forecast section.

Greatrex today:

I'm quite sweet on the horse in the bumper Western Ryder. He had to give a horse of Nicky's 21lbs [Daphne Du Clos] I think it was and he now has to give her 15lbs for a three length beating and he's improved again and it just seems to me as though he'd have everything you need for it. He's very tough, he's streetwise, he's had four runs and you need that in a race like this. He's tough and hardy and he's got a turn of foot. He's got everything you need

:triumphant:

Gonna be a very anxious few minutes on here come 5.30 on the Wednesday

Where is that news from Ista... betfair got it out to 19.0 but bookies haven't reacted yet..... seems like a great time to go in again !

Noel Fehily at the Sean Graham preview Kev

Empire of Dirt Ryanair bound too...

I simply can't believe Cause Toujours is shorter than Western Ryder on Betfair. As impressive as he was at Warwick, the form looks almost worthless.

Carter Mckay is the Mullins 2nd string. Getabird was their clear pick, doesn't run and now they have the 2nd best bumper horse around?

Not a chance. Western Ryder has easily, EASILY the most solid form. Fits all the trends.

I am preaching to the converted I know, but kudos to ista...even if it loses I feel like it was my best bet of the week :triumphant::p
