Good effort LR.
He went a little under the radar last year, think I was backing him at 16s a week before the race and 12s on raceday.
He won a fairly ordinary Rick of Thunder in Nov but won it well and has been hovering around 6s for this one since, is 6s value ? It could be, but if ground came up good I'd be very keen on Any Currency, currently around 10s.
Used to hiking big weights about if you strike a line through his last run he'd be half that price, and as the race is a level weight race now he must have a huge chance, but I think his chance is ground dependent....

For some reason I just can't see pass Josies Order. The course form this season and the top weight win was very impressive.

I think the jockey booking will be our best tip.

Agreed, and yes if Nina chooses JO then that would be a tip in itself, but whilst I know JO is improving and probably hasn't peaked over these obstacles his first Chelt win came when getting plenty of weight and his second win (Dec) was a weaker race and Any Currency hit one hard and didn't recover.
JO is a worthy fav but if ground came good I'd be backing AC at 10s before I piled into JO at 5/2...

Bit of an each way runner to consider here is Love Rory.
Announced himself in this sphere when winning a Risk of Thunder as a 5yo, he's since run some very good races carrying plenty of weight and is one of few who is better for the quicker ground, and despite todays rain there isn't a drop forecast from now so ground is likely to be quick.
He's run and failed in this before but as a 6yo, another couple of years he is at/approaching his peak and a 25s he looks decent value, even more so this will be the first time for 3 years he isn't conceding weight to most....
