This years Ladies Day Yankee selections will be selected by the one and only Bitchy.

I am sure Bitchy dissect one of the toughest days of the Fest!

Share your thoughts on each race here!

Day 2 is yet another good day where i think looking for value could pay off, my day 2 yankee for value is;

Neptune novices - Bellshill 7/2
RSA Chase - More of that 5/1
Coral Cup - Prolitologue 12/1
Cross country chase - Balthazar king 5/1

This is a great day to come racing. Future Champion hurdlers in the Neptune, Gold Cup winners in the RSA and Champion Chase winners in the flesh :)

I like More of that but Jonjo form is still a concern.
Love BK too but winning this would be adream after all he has been through.

Not sure if any of you watch on the line with matt chapman on at the races but he had hobbs on the line this week and he put balthazar king up as his selection for the festival to most likely win and with the form the stable has had this season I wouldn't put it past hobbs to get him ready, good record fresh as well

:encouragement: I missed that. Will be hard to beat the favourite but good to hear he has recovered.

Just a heads up Bitchy - I was given Coeur Blimey this morning for the Bumper from a source that has been banging them in lately.

I know you like Ballyandy who ran a blinder when giving weight against CB. I am happy with your selection based on those terms and just passing the info I received. I think its a matter of who has improved the most and will handle the new venue.

a common problem bitchy. got to get jobs done to keep next week clear :encouragement:

It think it is worth taking on big 2 in RSA but not sure what with.

I've been looking at Foxrock in the Cross Country, I think this is now a conditions race so if he takes to it must have plenty in hand, was closing on Don Poli in the Lexus, nothing else can come close to that level of form as far as I can see

I know this race is changing but the strongest trend for this race was to oppose banks debutants.
This is not a race until they come out onto the course proper, they are almost show jumping for most of the way round so whilst Foxrock brings the best form over regulation fences these are not regulation fences.
I'll go out on a limb and say I'll be laying Foxrock, the twists, turns and banks are unique and they'll be going much slower than Foxrock will be used to...

I take your point Isty, I think his overall superiority could be telling though, you're a braver man than I Gunga Din to lay him

Cantlow in cross country ?
