2015 Mares Hurdle

Glens Melody as short as 5/2 with the Tote and betfred atm..and thats without NRNB

Looks like a decision has been made then, I'm glad I backed GM weeks ago now, didn't think she was without a chance even with AP running, must be a good bet if AP goes World hurdle

Think this is all coming from the podcast interview with Ricci. Very good listen BUT he only said the WH was tempting and a consideration if she sparkled in work. Still being trained for the mares race.

Heres hoping the decision's been made,I think we're both sitting pretty if it has. Agree about GMs chance..Reckon she'd have won last year if the jocks timing was better.

Strange that the mares hurdle would be on the cards if she didn't sparkle, you'd think a non-sparkling Annie Power is an unfit Annie Power so shouldn't be going to the fez at all, I don't think it will be the walkover many consider, Glens Melody is a good horse

I think going into the WH after an injury and being off for so long is a huge risk. A pre fracture or whatever her injury was has to be a concern.

But surely if it's a concern she shouldn't be going at all, imagine the backlash if something happens to her after making it clear there's a problem
 
I'd be surprised if they switched. AP is currently trading at 11/1 for the WH so a decision hasn't been made yet. I think this is all on the back of Ricci's and it doesn't take much for things to snowball on the exchanges.
 
Mares hurdle, Aintree hurdle then Punchestown for Annie and will win the lot!
 
I think She will run in the Mares but might be worth hedging a bit of your Acca with a NRNB bet FM ?
 
I'm in a difficult position really. As it stands I win £12.5k if Faugheen wins, a further £4k if both Faugheen and AP win. I traded out some of my Faugheen (too early) to guarantee I win £500 if Faugheen gets beat. The problem I have is I still need Faugheen to win for my AP bet so can't lay any of her. Already layed off nearly £2.5k on Faugheen to ensure I get something back and don't really want to keep chipping away at potential profit. I've made a real balls up of trading it truth be told!

Sounds awful for you FM, LOL, we all feel your pain. I thought I was loaded up on Faugheen but I'll pick up a couple of grand if he wins, I'd get AP laid off though on the day if it was me, if she's still turning up in this, not all of course, but certainly some;)
 
I've just read that back and it doesn't read great lol. Obviously I'm in a decent position re Faugheen but just trying to explain how I just have to wait with AP.

Anyway, we'll know our fait in 10 days time :)
