Will you be having any cover for the Supreme ? I’m half tempted but for me there are likely to be speedier novices next season and as I said, the way TMR hits the line he is certain to get/want further…. Apologies @Hurricane fly I seem to have created a separate discussion from the yankee…

I've had a few spare quid in an account so I've taken the 33s on offer for the Turners, as you say the Supreme may well be the plan but at 14s that's less attractive and the horse has hit the line hard in both his runs he's sure to get further. Whether @Hurricane fly is prepared to consider him...

I ignored that previous run over the fences, every chance they were minding his mark for Spring. Sat was his first attempt over any sort of National trip, longest trip previously was the Kim Muir he somehow managed not to win, for me I can easily see improvement over extended trips…

Iroko up 4lb today. One I'd like to be (again) next year is Johnnywho, more that a little inconvenienced by the loose horses on the run in and I'll expect Jonjo to mess about with the horse until Feb and get his mark down to somewhere near where he ran off on Saturday (146). 25/1 doesn't scream...

    2027 The Prices on Offer

That might not be a bad play, he’ll fall well short of that this season but it wouldn’t be a shock if he acquired another 25+ horses from other yards this Summer assuming he can fit them all in of course…

Yes that's true, though making sense of the Albert Bartlett has never been easy and those that have been out since have run horribly, plus the JOB horse went off 50/1 in his Turners so can't have been impressing too many prior to Cheltenham. We all approach Cheltenham our own way, but personally...

I can see the attraction in picking good Aintree winners/performances for next years festival but I have to say I've always been wary of this, particularly when it comes to novices. I just think there are some cheap G1s up for grabs at Aintree, that will sound unfair but the majority of horses...

If Wodhooh had been declared for the 3m race at Aintree I would have been all over this. I'm convinced she will be even better when stepped up so if they do that at any point before March it would be hard to drop her back. BDA is the enigma and given the lack of depth in the 2m hurdling division...

Good post. There can't be many in here who are worse at the novice hurdles than me, a new low point in managing to get Old Park Star in the Turners before a small cover (that didn't cover total race outlay) for the Supreme this year. But as bad as the novice hurdles have been I am now firmly in...

I can see the angle but there wasn’t much in his form to suggest he was a G1 horse before yesterday. Money came so maybe it was a season long plot to get in on 142, who knows, but for me I’d need to see him winning in open graded company….

Search for Glory missed the kick which is a big issue in a 30 runner handicap, he also gave one a real clout early, but ultimately being behind 25+ horses gets you in bad lanes. You can't pretend it wasn't disappointing but it's possible a combination of those two issues were valid excuses...
