Haven't seen the RP stuff, but BDA likely staying over hurdles I believe (Hattons Grace the first target), Romeo had an op for kissing spines but is back on track for Down Royal and Wodhooh likely go to Mares Hurdle via Ascot.

Most of this from our man @RoadToCheltenham on Twitter.

Anyone got an excel antepost bets template they use and would kindly like to share with me please.

Think we sneaked Zeus Power (Stayers) in a monthly yankee somewhere....

Mares Hurdle as in at Cheltenham or Leopardstown again after Ascot like she did last year ?

Irish Point back with Gordon from injury and hacking. Very likely to go chasing.

Ha,ha !

Yep, big ask but very lightly raced and if he retains most of his Hurdles form then he'll be right in the mix.

It could be a red hot race if even half of them get there. I could have had him after his 2nd to State Man, but I'd rather have a 5yo than a 9yo

2 bad injuries now hasn't he?

Had loads of potential as a novice but a huge ask to get him to winning a grade 1 against horses with serious upside and age on their side. It will be a 'no' from me. I would be staggered if he made it to an Arkle to be honest. He will probably come out and dot up in his maiden but then could see him getting his arse handed to him over Christmas.

Trends suggest you want a 6 or 7 year old for the Arkle……

Agree, they rarely come back at the same level

Not quoted for the Arkle, only BANC @ 50/1 with Flutter

Surprised they are going chasing as with Bob retiring then Robcour had a vacancy for the Stayers

I am not writing Teahupoo completely off yet. Stayers usually get better with age. Hiddenvalley Lake seems to be the Aintree horse no matter what.

I'd be surprised if the arkle is even their target over the brown advisory.

Had no problem staying three miles a few years ago, and only ran in the champion hurdle because same connections had teahupoo in the stayers. Trip was shorter than ideal but it was a weak renewal so his ability still got him placed. State man wasn't at his best that day either so probably flattered a bit by how close he got I'd say.

He won't have gotten any quicker since then so I'd say three miles would be more their thinking now.
