Now he should be aimed at the Champion Chase, Ryanair or Gold Cup. Could do all three ! Very, very impressive.

Get a grip, man. Rated 145 today, he beat a 137 horse by 7 lengths. The handicapper will probably give him a few pounds but he'll still be low to middle 150s who will be a 10yo next Cheltenham. Coral Gold Cup and Grand National will be the limit of their ambition next season.

That said, it was a lovely ride from an amateur.
