Hi all,
Hope you don’t mind me jumping in. I’ve been working on a small racing side project and thought this might be a good place to share it with the Grand National coming up.
It’s called FriendlyBet - basically a race-day tipping competition where you pick across the full card and compete on a live leaderboard. You can play in your web browser or iOS/Android.
Everything’s handled automatically (picks, scoring, results, leaderboard etc), so no spreadsheets or manual tracking needed.
I’ve just started testing it with a small group over on The Racing Forum as well and it’s been really useful getting feedback from people who in the racing community.
At the moment it’s completely free to play (no deposits or anything like that), just running a few test groups ahead of the Grand National to see how it feels in a live setting and get any feedback on scoring etc...
If it sounds like something you’d fancy trying, just drop me a message and I can send the details over.
Happy to answer any questions as well.
Cheers
Craig
