Sober Glory.....

"He's an exciting horse for the future and whatever he does this season is a real bonus. I think going chasing next year is the most likely course, but we don’t need to make that decision at the moment and we’ll enjoy what he’s doing over hurdles at the moment.”

Sad news indeed. Wonderful racehorse, but so much more we could have seen.

Anyone know when the rest of the races at Aintree are usually priced up? I'm sure there's normally a market by now

No entries until 3rd of April for majority of races so they'd only be guessing about who turns up.

Topham entries closed on 24th March, Grand National on 3rd Febuary, think they're the only two early races at the meeting..

With connections name checking Aintree Hurdle for BDA there has to be a big chance Wodhooh steps up to 3m there. They surely won't race against each other??

Are you thinking the Stayers again next year Ista??

From Irish Racing pages.........Brighterdaysahead is “crying out for the step up in trip” ahead of what could be her final outing over timber in the the William Hill Aintree Hurdle next month.

Gordon Elliott ’s star mare somewhat corrected her Cheltenham record when a game second to Lossiemouth in the Champion Hurdle, and before her long-anticipated switch to the larger obstacles next term she will head up in distance at Aintree for their feature hurdling attraction on the opening day of the Grand National meeting.

Has Gordon confirmed that Wodhooh will be running at Aintree ?
Was an article in the RP last week where he spoke about his plans for Aintree but didn't read it as not subscribed to them.
Maybe someone here could shed some light on the plans as that might answer the above questions.

I don't subscribe to RP but Gordon told NL Daily around a week ago that BDA would run over 2m4 or 3m at Aintree. When pushed by Nick, he said the 2m4 option was more likely.

He also stated in the interview that Wodhooh would run at Aintree. He didn't mention a distance, but given he is unlikely to run both against each other, it's a reasonable assumption that she may step up to 3m.

Didn't happen, new entry over at Bangor on Tuesday. Another Junior Hurdle.
Didn’t expect him to be entered at Bangor either. It’s my local track and I’m going so hopefully he turns out to be a good one.
