Massively sad day.

The horse that taught me a valuable lesson not to take trainers at face value (when GE said he wouldn’t run in the bumper, so I cashed out thinking I was doing well).

After his Stayers Hurdle, Brown Advisory, Gold Cup non starters he’s paid his dues big time today.

From his beginners chase at Punchestown I fell in love. He’s showed his cards today the beautiful mad bastard!
 
Was elation to gutted in the space of a few minutes!

Gaelic warrior was immense as was PT onboard, then hearing the news on Envoi was gutting!

As much as it’s sad he won’t get a long happy retirement, he’s passed doing something he absolutely loved, was an absolute stalwart of a horse! For both Gordon and then Henry the last few years!

RIP 3 Envoi Allen!

The 2023 Faugheen was arguably the best ever novice chaser. Surely it’ll never be beaten now.

2 x Gold Cup Winners and a Champion Chase winner.

There’s a race they should revisit the RPRs for.
