2026 Novice Chasers

Josh Stacey confirmed he was on the boat, but not sure he confirmed his well being. Maybe he's been found to be lame while on the boat, which could explain the differences in opinion between them
They were saying he didn't travel at first and now he's apparently lame, they're making it up as they go along

Ah yeah that's right they said he didn't travel at all. So that would still be directly contradicting what Stacey and others said on twitter.

If they have information that he’s out fair enough the truth will come out but it’s the way they’re doing it posting like some attention seeking child. People could cash out on the back of their stupidity. I hope people avoid their platform in future whatever the outcome not that I know who they are anyway.

Its something that winds me up no end when people post info on twitter. If they have something to say, then just say everything they know clearly. If I had that info that they claim to have, my post would be something like the following....

"I'm told by a trusted source final demand is lame and will miss cheltenham". Simple and clear, and not giving away who told them or anything like that.

Instead they just post that he won't run, and then when people naturally question them what are the reasons and how do they know for sure, they keep giving short snide replies, and you have to squeeze the whole story out of them. They've already posted private info for all of twitter to see, so not as if they have to hold back for any reason, if they're going to post at all then just say what they know.

It's idiot behaviour, maybe intentionally leaving out info to cause confusion and try to get more comments under the post. Probably to up their engagement or something and get more eyes on their account.

He just looks the part to me.
Others do as well to be fair,but imo he’s the fav.
It’s a funny race this one isn’t it? Super competitive, and I would say every runner has some solid pros and solid drawbacks, i guess it just depends which you are able to forgive. I’m starting to come back round to wendigo. He’s solid, will run a race, and if one of the others are superstars, they’ll beat him, but can’t be overly confident which one will. FWIW my ‘book’ for the race was done early to get prices and is Romeo (might not stay), TBW (mares don’t win this) kitz (needs to go right) wendigo (lacks class?) and FD (useless)

….W Mullins;

KDB;
The Arkle is normally a race that favours top-of-the-market horses. Kopek Des Bordes comes into this race with very little experience; however, we've schooled him twice at top-class tracks recently and he's come through with flying colours both times. So, what he lacks in experience in races, he certainly, we hope, made up for in practice. We know he likes Cheltenham, he's won over the track before. He certainly goes in here with a big chance in what is a very competitive Arkle.

Kargese;
She's been very well since the Dublin Racing Festival. Kargese has won around Cheltenham, winning a very competitive County. Danny [Mullins] retains the ride on a mare who is a very difficult ride and, having won a Grade 1 juvenile hurdle on her, he knows her well. She's a tough individual who will take a lot of riding and I think Danny will probably get the best out of her.

They’re a bunch on sanctimonious so and sos. The first to criticise and rebuke anyone for anything vaguely speculative. Then trot this shite out dismissing anyone who dares to question their source. Right or wrong, on this, they’re wronguns.
I've always bracketed them as "mostly harmless" but they've absolute shit the bed over the last 12 hours. If FD lines up they have a lot of explaining to do

First time tongue strap for Final Demand. Suggests wind issues perhaps?

It does but know lots who use them on the big days just in case,better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it thinking..
