Day 1 Yankee - FinalFurlong91

Spent a few minutes going through the fred winter trying to find something i like not called munsif and came up blank

Hes just run in the right races for this imo, they almost won the race with byker recently too

He ran behing proactif and macho man

He ran in the naas race and was again tenderly handled

Anyone fancy any others in the race?

I keep coming back to Munsif now.

I'm on a fair few for the race, but he is top of my list now!

I keep coming back to Munsif now.
Needs one more to come out ?
But he was 100% the one to take out of the Naas race for me, never asked a question up the straight, I'm tempted to go in again at the 10/1 now but if his price holds to the weekend and the decs doesn't throw up any surprise absences he would look a solid leg....

If Minella Study is the 3rd fav for the Triumph, then Ammes must be under serious consideration here?

Also has an A in the first three letters of his name, which everyone knows is the real quiz here

Will get this up this afternoon

Who do we like for the plate and ultima?

I’d nominate Downmexicoway as well after coming here instead of the Grand Annual. Picked by O’Keefe over Zurich as well.

They should have him prominent, I can’t see the trip being a problem and should be a decent each way shot.

I think he’ll be sub 10/1 though.

Who do we like for the plate and ultima?

….i think O’Moore Park could provide Mullins with his first handicap chase winner in the Plate. Case made;

‘Sent off a 66-1 shot in the Jack Richards Novices’ Handicap Chase last year, he jumped and travelled well on the front end of an albeit slightly tepid gallop to finish a highly creditable third behind Caldwell Potter. He backed up that effort with another good run at Cheltenham's April meeting when trainer Willie Mullins was peppering the UK with runners in his attempt to steal away the trainers' championship. O'Moore Park has still yet to win over fences, so he qualifies to come back for another crack at the Jack Richards, or he may go to the Plate, run for the first time on day one on the Old Course. That would very much suit his run-style and I like his chances in either event.’

Patter Merchant - Ultima

Been on my radar for a while as one being plotted somewhere - took a bit of 50s during decs for the race.

….Munsif will be a popular selection.

Can't put an Irish trained horse in for the Ultima surely?

Hold that thought, twitter says munsif balloted out
Is he 1st reserve?

That has scuppered a leg

Do we like glen to glen given josephs record?

Throw the 4 handicap idea out and have a supreme horse?
