2026 Novice Hurdlers

The big problem is only having the one race to look at. I did have a look at his point again. He looked to travel better than Harry Lowes, but in the end that one has seen him off with a degree of comfort. Mullins seems to love speed over stamina, and maybe that's what is swaying things? You would think an inexperienced horse would find the pace of a longer race so much easier to cope with. His pedigree would not shout two miles. I don't see Doctor Steinberg having anything like enough class to win a Turners. What's happened to his usual idea of going for the easiest opportunity? Could easily be a double bungle by Mullins.

The form book has King Rasko Grey well clear with the chance he will improve for going up in trip. I would go with that.

Which of jp's people was it that last year was saying kopeck de me was going for the pipe, then county, then coral, then county, then pipe again, all in the space of about two weeks 🤣

If these are the same people then you have to take with a pinch of salt imo.

I didn't hear with any certainty of preferred target for him last season, hence backing all 3 nrnb.
 
It's all bloody guess work isn't it? Be too easy if it wasn't. Have they had their final bits of work yet ? If not, then no body knows for sure. Even Willie.

yup exactly that. Best thing to do is just stay off social media until the decs are in. So much misleading information being thrown about and you'd half have to think these people are trading it.
 
Come right back in for the Turners. It's absolute chicken feed liquidity like.

Be odd for them to make a definitive decision at this point I reckon. But maybe they've a preference...

I hope he does go Turners, think he's a much better chance in that than a Supreme

I seen stuff from about 5 or 6 different people in the lead up to last years festival, I think including you, saying they heard a different target what seemed like every couple of days.

It's not a criticism in any way, I can't even remember exactly what was said, or whether you were one of the ones saying the following, but from others on here and twitter who seem to have some sort of links to these people in question, I was constantly seeing stuff along the lines of "last I heard it was coral", "last time I asked I was told county", "rumours are it's going to be martin pipe" etc etc.

And I'm not talking about obvious grifters saying this sort of stuff, it was from normally pretty reliable people who do have links. And even from them the story seemed to be changing every couple days.

Again, no criticism of you for saying what you've heard, but if it's the same people passing along this info that were apparently passing along info last year, I wouldn't make overly drastic moves on the back of it.

Yeah don't think I was one who was saying targets, probably more just what way i thought they'd lean. The only way I didn't think they'd go was Coral.

Yep. Fuck it up for everyone else. Many punters just follow the money routinely and get stung. Should bloody ban trading!
 
Took the cash out before they turned it off 365 for the turners and put it all on hills NRNB, return was 10x stake and I'm losing about 10 pts on the return so better safe than sorry but I do feel like this is just a load of bollocks and a smokescreen

You know that Idaho sun, sober glory, the fav, and mossy fen will all want to lead or be close to the pace. To be leading all of these , beat off any challenge they may make and then finish well enough to hold off the likes of TTT , EC and my paddy who look like they will have the perfect set up, and all after just one run, this fella is going to have to be extra terrestrial not just the next Faugheen.

Anybody looking at the make up of both races would surely conclude the Turners would be the best option if they plan to front run.

Putting a gun to the head of such an inexperienced horse with such a potentially bright future would seem a strange thing to do imo 🔫🔫

If somebody knows as fact MP goes to the supreme then you'd have thought they would be happy to take unibets 8/1...
