    Yeah that’s a fair point.

Long Run was chasing at 4 and had a great career. Masterminded as well. Those going chasing early inevitably end up in the open division earlier and the open chase division on the whole is much more competitive than the open hurdle division. Footpad was a decent grade 1 level hurdler...

‘’He’s a very good horse. We brought him to Cheltenham and didn’t run him because of the ground. We think he’s a proper horse but you have to go and do it on the track,” said Elliott. “We rode him wrong the first day, we dropped him in, but we let him stride on today. “He’s massive. Bringing...

I think so. There was nothing in the rules specifically excluding them from what I could see.

Another Junior NH hurdle. Takes the piss a bit to be able to win more than 1. One of Greatrex’s horses has won 3 I think and ran in 4. Surprised others aren’t doing it to get free experience in and leave them as a novice next year as well as being more easily eligible for festival handicap hurdles.

    2027 The Prices on Offer

Irish Racing has this quote from Noel Meade I’d say he has plenty of speed so if he’s back here next year it would be over two miles. His jumping needs some ironing out but we can work on that now.

Yes can see him getting a sequence together early Autumn/Winter. We haven’t seen too many of his over here but I’m sure they’ll end up better chasers than hurdlers.

He was a brilliant 4yo chaser. That 3yo crop was top tier - 4 top class horses in it and Pic D’Orhy arguably the least talented of the 4. This race had 4 future grade 1 winners in it and none won. Just missing L’Autonomie. https://www.racingpost.com/results/205/auteuil/2018-06-09/704956 He...

I’d have thought Mourne Rambler would be a potential Turners horse. Full brother to Sixshooter who was best over the mid distance. He came from the rear, relaxed well and the performance was more of a typical Turners ‘wait and pounce’ than a Supreme type horse. Horses by Well Chosen do tend to...

    2026 Gold Cup

Awful news. What a career he had. Bumper grade 1, novice hurdle grade 1, novice chase grade 1, grade 1 open chase wins at 2m, 2m4 and 3m. Doubt we’ll see another horse do that.

    2026 Gold Cup

Does the Champion Hurdle Gold Cup double for Ricci and so easily could have ended up being a Mares Hurdle Ryanair double instead. Finally took the risk and it paid off.

Unreal performance. Would have won last year as well.

    2026 Juveniles

Proactif and Macho Man never looked that comfortable. Thought Maestro would get up but winner must be some horse to win with Patrick on board.

    2026 Stayers Hurdle

Change of tactics and he wins. Poor race though.
