    2026 Grand National

With L'Homme Presse out I looked to see any other triple figure odds horses that take my fancy, and whilst there isn't too many I have landed on a small play on Blaze The Way, who is 100/1 with Bet365. He's going to need a couple to come out, and whilst I really don't like Getaways, this is...

And now missing the race, due to lameness during work. Owners are absolutely gutted, as am I. Was NRNB so no harm done financially, but honestly think he would have had a real chance in the race at a huge price!

I've backed Gentleman De Mee & Boombawn. Similar reasons as above for GDM. Boombawn, I think Skelton has worked his magic (cheating) this season. Started the season on 153, now down to 146. The horse saves his best for Aintree, IMO. Ran to within 3 1/2 lengths of Impaire Et Passe & 2 1/4...

This is my take too. Still 33's, bit of a forgotten one because he came down, prior to that pissing all over Final Demand, and not far behind Kitzbuhel, but that was on his chasing debut, potentially over a trip too short.

3 in the past 22 runnings, as opposed to 0 from the past 22 Gold Cups. FWIW I don't dislike him for the Gold Cup, I just like to, annoyingly for some, check these things when questions like the above are noted.

    2026 Flat Season

Gone in on Galeron @ 16/1 too. Down 7lbs from last seasons race (finished 5th), plus Jack Callan is taking off another 5lbs. Goes well fresh, seems to go well at Doncaster too, no ground concerns, acts on all types, probably won't win, but he's consistent and will be there or thereabouts I...

Toby Moore on board, claiming 7lbs, that'll help!

I agree. I'm quite looking forward to it. Got 7 backed, 2 are savers only. Backing savers in the Grand National :ROFLMAO:

Yeah, I went in on him again once Hills went 40's. Agree about the XC, and whilst it's not had a winner for a few years now they usually run well in it, and for me Final Orders is a prime candidate for a top 4 or 5 finish even if he doesn't win it.

Playing Anno Domini in the Lincoln, a friend of mine really likes him, backed @ 25's now only 365 dangling 16's with 14's everywhere else.

Absolutely something worth asking, and I would say a fair few darts, especially in my case. A lot of my free bets from now until next March go towards the Supreme, more so than any other race. I like to get off to the best possible start. I record the P/L for the release of the free bets...

I guess it very much depends on your circumstances and betting style. For me, 'chasing' the Supreme & Novice Hurdle winners proved profitable this season. The Albert Bartlett, however, a disaster, although overall from the three races I was in profit. I've decided, after a struggle the two...
