Supreme Novice Hurdle 2019

Looking forward to seeing Getaway John, discounting his Punchestown run his bumper form is handy with a head defeat to Tornado Flyer and a win over Brace Yourself who won its maiden.

Very early but as always with Gordon will be interesting to seen his placement now, With the martin pipe very much in mind. He'll be a decent horse.

Also interesting to see where Tornado Flyer goes, seems to have attracted more money on the exchanges than Blackbow as this present time.
 
Very unlikely there's a supreme horse there. Itchy feet travelled best of all. So he'll be a nice horse to beat in trials. Thomas darby one to watch now up in grade too. All be it the winner today looks like he came on from his 1st run.

Only 5 obstacles taken - so I won't rule any of them out until I saw them run in a proper race...

I also backed Seddon prior to his run today, although not as brutally close :p
 
Very much in the annamix camp but I'm not adverse to some value in the race.

Just backed Quick grabim 50/1 ew 1/4 .
far too big with cash out available. I like royal rendezvous too but iv only been offered 25/1 so I'll watch him next time out. will be interesting to see which one ruby picks in the royal bond.

I just rewatched quick grabims race id be supremely confident he would beat them lot easily of levels. Ruby oozed confidence and he made that mistake at completely the wrong time.
 
Are Blackbow and Tornado Flyer both obvious angles at 25/1 with 365 right now?

I've backed both in the Ballymore, and am fully in the Annamix-hype-parade for Mullins in the Supreme - but if they reappear and win, they'd shorten for both races?

There is a chance they could run and look in desperate need of a trip, but how likely is that really wehen both are solid bumper winners over 2m?


I have actively tried not to get too involved in this race so far, and agree with the majority that nothing has warrented any attention yet... but don't want to miss a trick.


So far I have staked 14 pts and cashed out 1 pt (Felix Dejsy) ---- (***and have used free bets only on the ones in Orange)

Annamix win = 92.5 pts
Blackbow = 30 pts
Danny Kirwan = 49.5 pts
Seddon = 54 pts
Mister Fisher 49.5 pts
Quick Grabim = 40.5 pts
Raya Time (any) = 41 pts
Commander of Fleet = 83 pts

Thoughts on adding Blackbow and Tornado Flyer?

Personal hunch there's something fishy with tornado flyer. He block enters them all, theres either been something wrong. Or he sees him as a stayer. Because he'd have a royal bond entry.

I'll play Blackbow for now.

Agree with you regarding the Quick Grabim race - I would back him next time against them and expect Ruby to keep the faith. Already on him as you can see

I'd be shocked if blackbow NEEDED a trip. But I think he'll go ballymore as I'm thinking miles ahead in the fact ruby rides annamix in the supreme so he'll want blackbow in the ballymore because in believe he's a serious horse. So they won't want the 2 taking each other on.

About time you backed the double then isn't it ;)

I can't get Annamix out of my head now, I am so excited. There is something about the Supreme (probably because it's the first race!) that is just so exciting

Royal rendezvous worrys me in that race so i personally wont back him for that antepost. However he'll run such a race that he won't be bigger than 50s and you'd still be able to cash it for money back should he not win.
