Cheltenham 2019 Ante-Post bets

Here is my updated shortlist of horses I will back in various combinations to chase the dream. I'm not forming a book so if I get it wrong, I won't be chasing more horses to add. Anything in brackets I'm still monitoring pending further information.

Supreme: Annamix, Mister Fisher, (Tokay Dokey).

Ballymore: Brewin’upastorm, Commander Of Fleet, (Tornado Flyer).

Albert Bartlett: (Time To Move On, Gallahers Cross, Good Boy Bobby, Seddon).
I’m holding fire on these as I’m not sure all will head here and Time To Move On may be looked after this season and kept to softer ground.

Triumph: Coeur Sublime, Adjali, (Lethal Steps).

Arkle: (Paloma Blue, Draconien)
It could turn out to be an open Arkle this year as there does not seem to be a superstar in the ranks. It would be nice to see a larger field in the Arkle as its one of my least favourite races of the festival due to small fields and the winner usually being head and shoulders above everything else.

JLT: Lostintranslation (Mr Whipped)

RSA: I can’t see past Santini or Next Destination for this, but neither are the price I want.
There is potentially quite a bit of depth in this race so the short prices are even less attractive.

4 miler: Blow By Blow, Chris’s Dream, (It’s All Guesswork).

Bumper: Envoi Allen, The Big Getaway.

Watch list: Downtown Getaway, Alighted, Vision D'Honneur, My Way, Sizing Pottsie.

Latest update I have added Lostintranslation after seeing him entered up and going back through his form last year that I had underestimated I think. I have added Draconien to the watch list as if it wasn't for Willie's comments, I may not have considered him. That's not my usual style but I can't be too naive and completely dismiss them.

Some really interesting ones there. Lethal Steps very much on the watch list too.

Agree about Lostintranslation - I missed him last season (tend to take my eye off the ball after Cheltenham for a bit of a rest)... often need to go and revisit Aintree and Punchestown, but I also try and ignore bits of that form too! (which would bring in Draconien for example)

I manage to screw up the post Cheltenham festivals every year so pretty much leave them alone now.

Bit of money for Apple's Jade in the Mares today, PP & Betfair both cut from 6's to 4's and a bit of money on the exchanges also as you'd probably expect. On the flip side, Laurina has gone out to 5's for this now, given the intended CH target talk.

Mates brother just been on the Henderson gallops and was sat with Charlie Morlock.

Few little snippets from the convo they had.

Nice Mare of Henderson is Epitoine. Ex- French . JP owns her. Mister Fisher worked well. Might Bite has lost all his kinks now. 5/2 for King George will be big on the day. He'll go off odds on.

Epatante mare

Epante for the Mares Novice Hurdle?

Might Bite was well behaved last year tbh the ground was just too soft at Cheltenham

Sorry mate. It’s what he sent me. Obvs a typo by him and I didn’t check. Haha
Thanks fellas

Cant see Might Bite going off that short after Native River beats him at haydock.

be surprised if might bite runs at haydock, and the odds on thing probably reflects more that hardly any of the horses in the betting will turn up on boxing day.

Epatante is 14/1 any race with hills which is the way ive gone with her, always the possibility that she could be a superstar and go supreme with those connections.

Not a fan of aqps form personally but he keeps going down the same route so hes hoping it will hit at some point.
Bloody mary /canelie / countister the last 3 grade 1 aqps winners he's bought to be thrown at this.

Anyone else getting worried about how many diffrent horses Mullins is talking up "as the new so and so"Seems to be a diff horse everyday.

What have I missed Somer?

Soz got that one wrong but theres shed loads of blue links on here about a mullins hotpot from him

I'd take them all with a pinch of salt tbh. We've had an unusually dry autumn/early winter in Ireland I'd imagine a lot of the talked up horses have only been out on grass recently.
