Weekend Racing

Unlucky OP - I thought he struggled at his hurdles yesterday and never really got into a rhythm. The winner looked a really nice horse and I'll be following him closely, especially if he is stepped up in trip.

Cheers FM, I didn’t go but have spoken to some that did and they said much of the same - Sebastapol never really looked like winning it and the winner looked the real deal.

Blow by Blow impressed today - granted the opposition was nothing to write home about but to start the season with a seventeen length win is pretty good going. One of my ones to keep an eye on for the festival.

If Pym drifts out to even money tomorrow morning I’ll be having some of that. He will have come on a lot for his last run and it doesn’t look a difficult test on paper he’d want to be winning readily to be justifying support for the Ballymore/Supreme.

Just reading the form and they're saying this is an easier race for Pym , than the last one .
So i am expecting a win now , Probably back him then for Sup/B.more .

Minimum stakes this weekend for me but plenty of races worth watching. Really interested to see how Monalee goes at Down Royal.

Me too Faugheen , Been having a few winners and placed during the week , not so good at the weekends.
So yes ., small stakes today. Gone for Sub lieutenant in the 2-30 and Peregrine Run -3-05.

Very little value out there which is standard when racing has 4/5/6/7 runner races, Wholestone probably the one I'll play.
I think the Charlie Hall is about the worst renewal I can remember.
Down Royal has a couple of decent heats, may play a Road to Respect/Shattered Love double.

Good luck all

I love the Simply The Betts angle today with him potentially being thrown in as the horses he was in and amoungst are rated in the high 140's and 150s and he races off 130 - 5/1

Agree that there are a lot of good races to watch.

It seems to be a day where I fancy most of the favourites in pretty much all the TV races, and they are NOT usually winning days - so stakes will be small.

I did get 10/1 4x places for Marshal Dan in the 16:15 Newmarket. (HT)

Looked like Pym needed further in that race today SR. Didn’t do much wrong in the running but looked like it ran at once pace.

Had a shocker yesterday , Only bright note was Traffic fluide in the 3-35 at Ascot , G. national bound
according to Gary Moore.

With the Pym result BC I don't think you'll be alone in having a poor day yesterday.

I've had a couple of plays today:

Win Treble - 2pts @11/1
Eclair De Beaufeu - 1.05 Cork
Just a Normal Day - 2.45 Cork
Turnberry Isle - 1.20 Naas

Treble - 4 pts @4/1
Turnberry Isle - 1.20 Naas
Hazel Bay - 3.35 Naas
Tide of Time (to place) - 12.50 Naas

Good luck to anyone having a play today.

Well, at least i had an instinct it was going to be a bad day , so only very small stakes.,
makes you feel a bit better.. mind you ,not a single place in a L.31 is a bad day surely in any one's books.
Good luck with your selections today O.P.
None for me today . Going to Plumpton tomorrow.

Cheers BC - Hazel Bay is a NR so second treble is dissapointingly down to 2/1. Good Luck at Plumpton.

Eddystone Rock 20-1 b365
November Handicap.
I've already took the 25s but 20-1 is still excellent value.
A horse that came third last year after a far too patient ride. Is 10lb lower now and ran his best race last Sunday in Irish November Handicap.
Been targeted at these races all season, so early season form worth ignoring and second to last run was involved in incident that ruined all chance.
Compared to the Gosden horse for example that has been backed and is 10-1 best price. I think he is 23lb better off.
One of my bets of the season.
Assuming it's going to run that is.

Had a few quid on Clan des Obeaux in the Betfair chase this Saturday, just looks too big at 20/1 on Betfair

24th Nov Mr M....

I looked at this earlier, considering an AP punt on Ms Parfois

doubt parfois runs, ladbrokes trophy more likely, and my selection for that

Totally agree with this one MrM. Has good form at Haydock and I can easily see him at least placing. I took 25/1 a couple of weeks ago and won't be adding anything else.

shes entered sat at sandown, but unlikely to run i reckon, depending on who else confirms.
was entered at market rasen tomorrow but not running, so it looks like he wants a prep run,
