Daily movers

anything racing today you actually fancy?

Really sorry mossy, just read this post and I logged in to say Francky du berlais just got me out of jail, so that was the one I fancied, terrible after timing, but I have said before I follow the Bowen yard, and especially when ridden by either brother, apologies again mossy.

Found something a bit different tomorrow, James Doyle rides two 2 year olds at hq, one in the.first for Karl Burke, Kadar, and one for Richard Hannon in the 4.15, both have been backed. Looking at them they appear to have a decent chance in each race and with the added bonus of the Doyler on board it seems a reasonable punt, the double pays around 44/1, with the place double being around 5/1.
Just fyi I've backed 2 at Market Rasen, both ridden by Sean Bowen, Elkstone in the 2.50 and Get an oscar in the last for his dad, both are near favourite, but they look to have a favourites chance.

Just an update, Havana hermano for Stuart Edmonds/Ciaran Gethings has been very well backed from 25's into 8's in the finale at MR. I'm sticking to the Bowen horse, which has drifted very slightly, but Elkstone in the 2.50 has shortened

Mad keen on Kadar myself MrM One of the only horses I've bothered with on the flat to put in the tracker and there were some good mentions on the podcasts... hoping for a massive run tomorrow!

Both of us disappointed then Kev, can't believe both James Doyle rides put up are out.

Started a very disappointing day for me. 30 pts down overall so getting my money back for him being a non runner was actually a highlight :highly_amused:

Oh well, off to Disney World on Monday - when I get back, the jumps season is kicking right off!:highly_amused:

I backed Kadar too , But my betting has been Woeful recently ,
so Looking forward to the jumps starting up again., Maybe a change of fortunes ?.

I'm happy about the jumps season being back too BC, most of my better wins through the Summer have been at the jumps meetings anyway.
The ride Sean Bowen gave Elkstone yesterday didn't look great but the horse has to be dropped out, that means giving away a lot of ground in a big field, which can't always be made up, especially when a horse is going up in the weights, 10lb rise from his last win. I think they'll need to look for a smaller field race, or try different tactics with him. Will still be following the Bowen guys though, hugely underrated in my opinion, this throws up some wildly overpriced horses from the stable, but when they take outside rides the two brothers are well worth following.

Tranchee from the Dermot Weld stable is an unraced 2 year old that looks to be well regarded, 5/1 into 9/4

Looks like the Weld stable can't work out what they have, O'Brien back to form now though, them and the Ryan Moore show today, hard to beat when they have their act together.

Wasn't going to do anything until weekend but Kyllachy dragon looks worth noting in the 3.15 at Ayr, 16's into 13/2 for Ian Jardine, still an ew price.

There are 2 that interest me today, Exalted angel for Karl Burke in the Notts opener, 9's into 7/2 , then on the same card in the 3.35, Saaheq for Mick Appleby, 6's last night, now 11/4.

Nmkt 2.40, Light and dark is a newcomer for Godolphin that's been backed from 12's into 4's, hopefully this gets the weekend off on the right note.

Love the leader has also been well backed into 8's from 20's for J Farrelly/Tom Cannon, later on the card James Bowen rides Ruperra Tom in the 4.30 for his dad, this one's seen a little activity in the market too.

Bump (so this isn't lost amongst the spam)

Rubbish week, don't know if it's as stables transition from flat to jumps or constant changes in the going, but the early money is proving unreliable, to put it mildly. Will keep an eye on things for a while, see if any particular stables are more aware than others of what their charges can do.

Disciple for Amy Murphy has been very well supported from 12's into 9/2 in the 2.25 bumber at Worcester. A £130k yearling purchase that's never run on the flat.

There are some significant movers today at Goodwood,
In the opener Nick Schofield rides one for Ian Williams that's been backed in from 11/2 to 5/2, Jam Session.
The biggest mover is in the next with a Mick Channon newcomer being absolutely blitzed from 8/1 down to 5/4, can't be any value left in the price but Chairmanoftheboard is obviously expected to put up a good show.
Then in the 3.10 Sparklealot has also seen a big move from an early 9's down to around 7/2 now, for I Furtado with Adam Kirby jocked up.
Mister Chiang has also halved in price for Mark Johnston/SDS, but there is a major non runner in that race so that could account.for some of the move, team worth following though.
