Albert Bartlett Novice Hurdle 2018

Looks like duc des genievres is going to be 're routed from the bartlett. Whether that means ND goes here time will tell. Looking positive though.

What makes you think that Scooby?

Powers bf pushed out DDG from 4/1 to 8/1. It's too big. They wouldn't be laying that.

Ok cheers hadn't seen that. Was just looking at the exchanges and not much has happened there.

Same reason bet365 laid 14/1 Samcro for so long for the Supreme? Try and get some NRNB money in the satchels!

Possibly, but this horse is not massively over priced at 8/1. It just seems an odd strategy for me

He is deffinately over priced imo. If I though there was any chance hed run I'd be all over it. Withou cracking smart. And if he did ND wouldn't be in the race. But Imo DDG won't run

It's NRNB Scooby - get stuck in.

Just took some of the 8/1 NRNB on DDG - Serious claims if turning up

Happy to read/see those market changes.

I am of the opinion that people took Willie's comments about DDG literally, and missed the bit where he said "could be Ballymore"... he also hasn't won a race yet...and no proof yet he see's out 3 miles.

NExt Destination would have a better chance to win this race than DDG does... I really really hope we see this "switch"

Waste of money to tie up on an account that I won't be using during the festival. No chance he goes imo at that price.

Will be annoyed with myself if he did.

I'll be interested to see if he's kept in the coral cup tomorrow.

Any love on here for Talkischeap?

He's a huge price for this at 40/1. A 2 X PTP winner and winner at Newbury on Betfair Hurdle day over 3 miles on soft ground. He would need to improve again but fits the profile of having plenty of experience and needs every inch of 3 miles.

He may not be classy enough but worth chancing at the prices.

1pt ew @44/1 (price boost)

Nice enough price.

The Alan King hurdler stats are out to get you though!

Those kind of stats don't bother me Kev. Alan King is good enough with the right horse. His ability as a racehorse is a far greater concern:devilish:

Not sure he is Graded class. For a horse who had won three points he was a relatively cheap purchase.

He was beaten a mile at Doncaster and prior to Newbury they thought he was a good ground horse and he has ended up being last off the bridle on soft ground. Suspect the race fell apart and even if it didn't it still doesn't look good enough.

Fair comment KB. There have been plenty of winners of this that didn't look graded class beforehand though. His win at Newbury was a big improvement on his Donny run but he may well be out of his depth .

I don't like those at the top of the market so a few speculative bets in this is how I'm playing this.

If Next Destination doesn't run here then I'm on Fabulous Saga.
