Cheltenham Preview Nights 2018

DJ

Shortest fave at festival will be Laurina - Willie said she's 'top notch', and 'special'

NH Chase - Jury Duty (Gordon said Dounikos is what he wants to run, and looking at form DJ thinks he has great chance now

Fred Winter - Style De Garde (137, and beat a horse that bolted up nto. Nicky's only runner)

Close Bros - Any Second Now (De Plotting Shed can't beat ASN getting 2lbs, and Ruby might ride as no WM entry)

Brown Adv - Le Prezien (PN said lots of schooling and off same mark when he ran good race in PP)

Pertemps - Louis Vac Pouch (145 improving out of all recognition, and cracking chance)

Grand Annual - Don't Touch It (NAP) (Won G1 over hurdles at Punchestown, beat BP, PM, and Yorkhill. Never worn c/pieces, laid out. G1 in a handicap, son of Scorpion... What could go wrong?)

Is Middle of March there?

“How far does Burning Ambition win the fox hunters”

I love Kealy :very_drunk:

Max bet £2k, and average bet £100 e/w

Lost £10k in Vegas playing poker during a 17hour drinking session, but won that on roulette the day before :highly_amused:

But he's not a big punter:devilish:

Horrific preview evening, Lucky, Kealy and Jennings deserved more respect, embarrassment for Betbright in my view...

Some nice nuggets put out there when they could speak over the crowd...

Instigated by Mr Pink giving everyone free bar, while he's plotted up at the Ricci Rich palais!

Either he knew or the crowd lost interest when his absence was announced.

Great commo by the way Tim

No worries. I got lucky with no casino offers to do tonight.

Will do the same for any others I get the time to watch live as well.

Thanks Tim. I'd forgotten it was a mates birthday so had to hot-foot it out of the door 10 minutes before it started!

Had a few "nuggets" text to me, but appreciate the effort in sharing this. Will go through now!

Top work Tim :encouragement:

I was meant to be going to that preview night tonight if it wasn't for the weather. Have to say pretty glad I didn't after watching it!

From another preview night involving Elliott apparently tonight:

- Shattered Love could end up in the JLT

- He wanted to run Dounikos in the 4 miler but the owners wanted to run in the RSA. Still to be decided

- Jamie Codd booked to ride Jury Duty but might save him for the Irish national if Dounikos shows up here

- Felix desjy will run in the bumper

- Davy rides De Plotting Shed in the novice chase

- Donagh meyler is qualified to ride in the Martin pipe and will ride one of his. Mentioned flawless escape, blow by blow/Dortmund park depending on weights

- Jamie Codd will ride Squouateur in the Kim Muir if he gets in

Now this is interesting

Felix Desjy is the one Patrick rode isn't it.

No chance unless I see Patrick come out and say he fears it :devilish:

In danger of being over bet because Gigginstown don't usually run them? I think it'd be dangerous to assume because they ARE running a horse that it means they rate him in the top echelons of their horses.... as they''ve got a pretty sound method already that has worked well...

The 2nd, Cask Mate, has had 3 runs since and is yet to win... the others that have had a run all yet to win too.... hardly a strong form race.

One I'll be avoiding.

Both good points, I’d certainly watch the money but would they really break the mold for a nobody

Tim that is a brilliant write up. Thanks. I missed the start but know from the later bits you got it all down.

A few of the crowd seemed to forget that what goes onto YouTube stays there. Nick Luck is wasted on pay to view. he did well to keep any order.

Doc kinda confirmed for No Comment interesting
