Coral Cup 2018

Felt that the three that finished behind Total Recall at Leop - were all interesting types for Cheltenham Handicaps.
Missed boat with Flawless Escape but Oscar Knight is interesting for this race, was entered for tomorrow's pertemps qualifier, but taken out.
might sneak in at bottom in Coral if entered up. 25-1 Bet365.

Yeah, Le Breuil.

Fair enough if connections think that, but I disagree :)

I'll be the one on the Wednesday sitting here thinking 'I wish I'd have listened to the guys on FJ' haha!

Not going to be a 1 dart race but I've had 1 pt e/w 25/1 NRNB and that'll be part of my my "team" haha

Ivanovic Gorbatov 33/1 and Barters Hill 33/1 are both in too at the moment....

Plenty of time to change my mind though!

I had IG noted, but for the County, You think they'll step him up in trip?

I think they could yeah. Triumph horses usually end up wanting further and it is a feasible way to bring out some potential improvement too?

I've backed County NRNB too though

Surprised to see Ivanovich Gorbatov not given an entry for this. I know you were very keen Faugheen...

Looks all systems go for the County (his only entry)

Hadn't seen this Jono, glad he's got his County entry though, one I've already got covered.

I'm surprised too. I thought a step up in trip could bring out a few lbs of improvement.

I'm on for the county but this was my preference.

What do you think FM?

I'm surprised too.

I'll back him for the County hurdle. He went off 5/1 fav last season and ran a good race in 6th. He's going to be a few lb lower this season so should run another solid race.

I'm disappointed he's not in the Coral Cup though as I thought the extra distance could bring out improvement.

Long House Hall going for this according to Harry Skelton who thinks he’ll run a big race. Surprised he is reverting to hurdles as looked good on his last chase start after being off since the summer.

Because its a prep for the national I'm inclined to ignore him now. Plenty of horses will have THIS as THE target so I'm against him now

Duc des genievres for me.
14/1 ew nrnb bog

Personally hoping this one goes down the Martin Pipe route and Diese Des Bieffes (under same ownership) goes for the Coral :)

He's on 145 Irish. I'd be gobsmacked if he got in. Guaranteed to get atleast a pound.
BF getting free money at 14/1

Diesse des bieffes very likely martin pipe.

I'm on NRNB :)

Also have DDB covered for the Martin Pipe anyway, might cover DDG in the Coral Cup now then.

I hope he dosent get hammered. He probably deserves to tbh. But you never know :).

A little concerned for Le Breuil's chances of getting into this race now. 48 ahead of him would need 22 to deflect. 138 got in last year and he's got a mark of 139. Touch wood he scrapes in anyway.

By my calculations horse number 68 (or there abouts) got a run last season, can't see why the year would be any different.

From memory, the McCain horse (can't think of it's name) won this having been even further down the list when the weights were published.
