I'v wrote off sayar personally. Though if I'd backed him I wouldn't have done yet. I keep backing sharjah at 3 figures for the ballymore. If he wins the Deloitte I'm going to have to back him supreme at the shorter price.

Wording was a bit stronger than I intended (2.53am) :highly_amused: ... I meant in general terms Sharjah won't have been impressing most as he wasn't jockeys first choice lady time out and Annamix was more highly regarded.

That doesn't affect his chance obviously and its better to do it on the track.

Not ruling him out at all despite that post that sounds like I am haha

Nobody concerned that Patrick is on board? I know he is capable, and has won some big races... but Davy Russell is loads better. Getabird has that to overcome today too....

If you've got the horse to carry you into the race Patrick wouldn't bother me at all. It's not a race I'll have a bet in but if I fancied getabird over mengli khan I certainly wouldn't have an issue with Patrick I'd be just hoping the horse is good enough .

Completely agree with that. I had a bit at 16s NRNB but considering going in again at 10/1 NRNB

IF he doesn't win today there is surely NO chance he goes for the Supreme...if he wins, he'll have to go joint fav at worst anyway...

It is not a negative but not a positive for me.... I won't have a bet in the race, just a very keen watching brief. I'd like MK to win as I've said earlier... only for a few gigginstown novice hurdle multiples from earlier in the season!

MK also a bigger winner in the Supreme for me too - although might be changing that now NRNB as it seems risk free.

Iv gone huge getabird supreme 16/1 nrnb when I could.
So I'm pretty impartial who wins. Either to win well and be clear of the rest will do me. Just hope both have a clear round to get a real look at it.
I'd be almost certain it's a complete free bet to nothing.

I’m playing a different game and have had a nice punt on Mengli today. 13/8 too big a price for me in what is a match bet with a horse that he should have too many gears for over this trip

I think he'd become very short if he did win it today...

The Mullins/Walsh/Ricci factor would start to gather momentum and he'd be shorter than he should be...

At worst, he'd be 6/1 - and I think it isn't unreasonable to see him closer to 4/1.

Of course, if he doesn't win, he won't be running.

I think there is juice in the 10/1
