16/1 Glance at Midnight in the Hills Hcap Hdle looks very big

2nd last time beaten 4L by Act of Innocence in the Sydney banks and was 5L infront of County Hdle 5th Sinnatra

….i posted in the Grand National thread, Skelton sounds very sweet on him in his Aintree stable tour.

Hills opened 14-1 which I highlighted earlier in the other thread, not surprising into 8-1 now.

Willie dominating the 5.00 at Fairyhouse. 1st, 2nd, 4th & 5th. Decent prizemoney for 'journeyman' owners though I do them a disservice with that term. They own Lecky Watson of course, and older readers will recognise the familiar colours. Hardy Eustace.

While many moan about having so many runners in he one race, owners want to be at the Festivals and Fairyhouse at Easter isn't that far behind Leopardstown at Christmas and Punchestown in a few weeks. Yards want to accommodate owners.

The other take on the day, though we could see it over the last fortnight. Gavin is truly back. A double on the card. Not forgetting Gordon winning with an 80/1 hot, his outsider of 4 in the 4.25.

Aintree looks like being a right old laugh.

Wasn't that one stepping up to replace Wodooh ahead of Brighterdaysahead

Think Colm just might have another nice one there, she'd be interesting next season as tbf there's only the 2 top mares the rest aren't upto much (over hurdles I mean), for me she looks like the further the better so....she'll need to improve a fair bit but thats not impossible either, maybe missing Cheltenham isn't such a bad idea sometimes.

This looks a belter on paper

Coukdnt decide betweem sixmilebridge, kappa jy pyke and jimmy so no bet

Thats why i have a few beers and watch fairyhouse

Feels like a winner when sonething you couldnt back wins and youve not had a bet

Very flat there Sixmilebridge, didn't take a cut at any fences and stopped entering the straight after setting a very sedate pace.

I'm always wary of all the results at meetings after the Fez . Happy to put a line through them in relation to next year's Festival.

They were always likely to be shite.

Some of those Mullins hype novices are incredibly bad this year as well. Leader D'allier ran a shocker today. And Fou De Toi pulled up yesterday in a 3 mile handicap hurdle off 122 has to go down as much worst Supreme bet of all time I reckon!

Can't say as I backed him but looks like his runs in Ireland were better than Fou De Toi's very low bar

I’m not quite so quick to write this one off, travelled and jumped beautifully and made a shuddering mistake down the back straight, had the look of a landing that would knock the stuffing out of any horse….

I agree, however I was impressed with He’s On Fire today, who looks a big old unit built for chasing……leading BANC candidate IMO
