2026 Pertemps Network Final Handicap Hurdle

….Kevin Blake just put up Lavida Adiva, still 40-1 365. Probably won’t last long.

Super annoying, I backed her the other weekend in the rendlesham, race that Kabral was a non runner on the morning, and then french ship fell. I think i got 29s then it went off at 12s or something. Shaping super nice into the race but seemed to go super wide and wild , maybe didnt handle the tight bend.
I was checking the 50s the other day and thought because of the poor run i could get 100 on the day, Ruth and family have had some great days at the festival!

DOH! been hammered into 25s.
Nope that was it - it was a bizzare looking (professional) ride in the final fence or 2. Playing with goggles then looking around also, maybe even genius. Could you imagine brian having back to back winners in the pertemps! Her dad had a few winners in the race also if i can wikipedia correctly, I remember being on Cape Trib once at least!

…..they were obviously watching as it was smashed in as soon as he highlighted it, still 33-1 NRNB with BV for anybody interested.

Thems will be watching tomorrow night as well 😡
I tuned in for the first hour and there was 3k watching, probably most of them waiting for the Blake handicap pick.

The lurkers will be out in force tomorrow night.

….BV have now cut to 16-1.

I see Millstream Lady a sea of blue today for this race, although still some 40/1 NRNB with Bet365 kicking about.

I wonder if someone has put her up.

She was one I had noted down from way back when she qualified.

I also noticed Michael Kenneally rode her last time at Leopardstown over Christmas, if he gets booked for the ride she'll have a very good E/W chance.

Couldn’t be the Naiad could it……

Supremely West cut by everyone again today

How good a tipster is Blake? I have never got the impression he is much cop, although of course he might be keeping plenty to himself. That's the way it seems with O'Brien runners, similar with Walsh and Mullins. I often wonder what the point of Walsh is, particularly when he often admits he knows nothing about betting.

Going back to Blake, I was surprised he had a hotline to a trainer who hardly has any runners, and barely trains ten winners a year. It's a far from her father who consistently unearthed a couple of good one's. Lavida Adiva is now an awful price. She ran second in a big field Cheltenham handicap two years ago. That was from a mark about two stone below where she is now. She has gone up from running in very small races, most of which she hasn't won. I would be very surprised if she is a serious factor.
