Is it just me that thinks 2/1 about kargese is a decent bet in the Irish arkle? Romeo isnt the quickest over 2m, and unless he gets a ride of perfection, this could easily go the way of kargese IMO

Yeah I've backed her, if Paul can get her jumping well out in front she'll be hard to pass. weight allowance will be a big plus in the likely heavy conditions.

Currently 400/1 think it’s time you got an account!
Mahoosive price. Worth a pound. Never had an account and definitely not starting now. I'm happy with my 25's👍

I don't mean to sound like a dick but... You should never be happy taking 25s about something available at 400s!

I've had a quid at 400s on your behalf...

Cheers Benjy but I really am. A winner is a winner.

Half the winnings to charity the other half on her to do a Dawn Run in 2027😍

Just seen WPM explain his decision on Kopek. Seems justified imo but what I would say is if he was going to be keen tomorrow, how keen will he be in March?! Granted ground might not be as bad as tomorrow but that’s not a given.

Surely Warwick has to be in their thoughts next week?!

Mullins told Sporting Life: "I’m very happy with Kopek Des Bordes. He worked well enough during the week for me, however I just thought bringing him out after a little break that he might just run too fresh in these conditions. It’s going to be tough out there.

“I prefer to skip this and get him ready for Cheltenham. I’m very happy with where I have him at the moment, but I just felt Saturday could be just too soon for him after his little break."

If anyone can ready them for Cheltenham with a maiden win. It’s Mullins. But still not ideal.

Apologies if I have missed the most obvious news.... It's been a tough week. But salvator mundi? Is he going to the arkle?

….W Mullins;

Kargese; ‘She only has two opponents but it’s a tough task against Romeo Coolio. On her hurdles form she’d have every chance if she can negotiate her way around the fences at Leopardstown well.’

Kitz; ‘We’re lucky enough to get Harry Cobden to ride which is a major boost. Dropping back to two-and-a-half miles shouldn’t be a major problem, and I think the prevailing ground conditions will suit him. The way he jumped around Kempton, if he can do the same thing around Sandown I’m hoping that will play to his strengths.

He has a bit to find with Kala Conti on ratings but I’m hoping he’s improving.’

After hearing Willie's comments regarding Kala Conti, you'll be pleased to know I've managed to get £3 on @ 382/1 with a good friend.

Happy Days.

Patrick very, very confident on Kargese. Romeo won't catch her and they are priced the wrong way around :unsure:

I think the prices should be closer but concerned that the likely ground will blunt Kargese's speed.

I've backed Kargese but don't think she should be favourite under today's circumstances.

I thought exactly the same re: ground but Patrick didn't even mention it.
